On Good Friday, Czesfjord, who had been placed in a medically induced coma since Palm Sunday, passed away from an immunocomprising disorder, which caused him to never awaken from his coma. No one knows how old Czes is, but it is generally believed that he is between 16 and 20 years old. As the region of Astellaria mourns the loss of our beloved regionmate, it is important to remember the details we have about life he lived in his short time in this world.

Czesfjord joined NationStates in August 2024, serving as a member of the administration of the region of Sophia, which has now been raided. During those times, he was greatly involved with the events following the Brotherhood of Malice's raid on Roses Without Thorns, expressing his full support for the natives of the region. Eventually, Czes left Sophia on his main, and came to join the new successor region of the RWOT community, Aspenia and later Aspen. During the time of Aspen and the reign of Kyli (Great Xanarcica Empire), he served as the region's Emberwood Officer, keeping the region peaceful, inclusive, and true to the purpose as set by the Aspenian Charter. Czesfjord also authored the first edition of the Aspenian Herald, which would later become the Autumn Leaf under Braznychia/Yangchenia. Czesfjord was also an active member of the Lacian Roleplay, roleplaying as the nation that bears his name. He is known throughout the Lacian Roleplay community as a good roleplayer, who participated in shaping many events in Lacian history, even if his nation was under the observation of the Global Coalition of Nations for much of his NS life.

However, Czesfjord is most known for being the leading figure that led the Astellarian Revolution that led to the creation of Astellaria. After entering into an arguement with members of Aspen Administration, he was dismissed from his position by the Aspenite governor. With him along many region members outraged at the act, protests began erupting across the region. During this period, Czesfjord, along with many high profile members of Aspen gathered in the Cave Lounge discord (which would later become the Astellarian discord after much modifications), soon decided to create a new region - Astellaria. Czesfjord would become the pioneering member of the new region, as the community slowly rebuilds itself after the collapse of Aspen and even RWOT before.

Even during his final days, Czesfjord stayed active. He repeatedly chatted with people on the Astellarian discord, made RP posts, formed the Party of Nordic Liberation of the Astellarian Parliament, and generally remained an active and integral part of the community even during tough times.

Czes was also an avid language learner, who spent his time studying French. He was also fluent in Czech and English.

However, on Palm Sunday, Czesfjord's condition got worse, and his brother announced to the discord that Czesfjord was placed in a medical induced coma until Friday. This shocked much of the region, who began offering prayers for his full recovery. After several days without any words, people in the administration began to plan for the worse case scenario, in case of Czesfjord's death.

Unfortunately, on Easter Sunday, Czesfjord's brother broke the sad news, that Czesfjord passed away peacefully on Friday, never awakening from his medically induced coma. He was immunocompromised for over a week, which took a toll on his body leading to his death. People on the Astellarian discord soon came to leave their condolences.

Czes, if you are reading this in heaven, wherever you are or whatever happens after death...know that we in Astellaria love you very much, and we will never forget you for as long as we live. Shine as heaven's brightest star, Czes. Maybe in God's name we'll meet again someday.
