"Rise and Conquer"
Overview
The United Kingdom of Rul Moemache is a developed constitutional monarchy located in a strategically important region of the northern hemisphere. Known for its strong institutions, diversified economy, and professional military, the country has recovered from a turbulent 20th century to become a stable and influential power. Its people take pride in the national motto "Rise and Conquer", which reflects both historical resilience and modern ambition.
History
Rul Moemache was founded in 1628 as a monarchy under the House of Veldros. The 1801 Constitution established parliamentary limits on royal power while preserving the crown as the symbol of national unity. The kingdom remained relatively stable until the early 20th century.
Industrialization in the 1920s and 1930s created sharp social divisions. By 1941, tensions between monarchists, socialists, and authoritarian nationalists erupted into a full-scale civil war. Three main factions emerged: the Royalists loyal to King Hadrian IV, the Republican Front, and the National Vanguard. The conflict lasted until 1948 and claimed approximately 1.8 million lives. King Hadrian IV was captured and executed in February 1948, ending the monarchy.
A republic was proclaimed under Chancellor Elias Verrin. The new regime suffered from chronic instability, economic mismanagement, and political purges. By the mid-1950s, public support for republican institutions had collapsed. In 1957, following a carefully negotiated transition supported by moderate military officers and business elites, the monarchy was restored under King Aldric I, grandfather of the current monarch. The restored constitutional system has remained in place since, with gradual democratic reforms expanding the power of the elected Grand Assembly.
