From this factbook, you can access the ASA's Rules and Disclaimers, our General Information, the template for a request TG, and the logs that we maintain! This factbook serves as the central hub between the important dispatches of the ASA, just to make sure you won't have to dig through piles of archived posters just to get to the real good stuff! Find yourself in need of an artwork?? Head on over to our request template to send a request, and look at some basic info of what I can do on the general information tab! If you're wondering how I plan on managing the ASA, take a look at the Rules and Disclaimers, where I outline my plan with the ASA and how I hope to take care of it! You're a government official or suspicious individual trying to audit me? Go ahead and look at our logs, where I keep track of the more important artwork I make and any changes to the Rules and Disclaimers!
While you're here, I might as well make this hub a bit lively by telling you a bit about the ASA!
The ASA came to be because I (Asa, not the ASA) wanted to make posters and flags for regional governments and election candidates, but I also didn't want to do it completely unregulated and flood an election with my bias. I, uh, I also wanted to make a new logo and a cool sounding name :3 While I could have just made posters for candidates and regional governments without the ASA, doing it with the ASA allows me to be completely transparent with what I do! As much as I doubt I'll use art distribution to my own advantage and be super biased in making art, you never know! I might turn into Evilsa down the line! >:3
Thankfully, not even Evilsa would be able to misuse my art because of the ASA! I'm using the ASA to have strict guidelines on how I make the more important artworks for governments and elections and also to expand art requests out from TLA's discord server to the NS world! As I wrote in the Rules and Disclaimers, the ASA is made with the purpose of "making efficient the process of distribution of requested art and publicizing the creation of political or governmental art for the goal of the transparency and assured integrity of all involved in such processes and creations"!
When exactly I founded the ASA is, uh, kinda hazy. Officially, I put it down as February 23, 2025 since that's when I founded this account and so officially made the ASA a thing, but I did make posters with the ASA logo on them ten days earlier! I also made the ASA logo wayyy earlier, although that was technically for a different purpose lol. The actual plan for what I want to do with the ASA came with when I was writing the Rules and Disclaimers; before then, I just wanted a cool new project to work on! As for the name, I wanted it to spell out ASA since that's my NS nickname! It's confusing and it makes it look like I'm screaming out my own name but I love it nonetheless :3
What I am super proud of is the ASA's official logo! Or, uh...one of two logos...? M-maybe three...?? I don't know! But this one specifically looks amazing! I absolutely love the design of it; it not only just looks nice but it's just such a wildly different thing from what I've made before!
The other ASA logos, like the broken gear with the ASA in the middle and the regular gear and octet are wonderful too! I designed those two a while ago, and the original gear and octet is rlly old by now lol, I've had a gear and octet on my main nation's flag since I founded it!
