NS isn't an airport, but I'm announcing my departure.

I've kind of thought about things to write or a big long letter about my experiences, but I think this fits better, going out with quiet well wishes instead of a bang:

I am retiring from NationStates. It's been over a decade, almost 11 years stuck here now. I wish everyone the absolute best. I hope that all the people who play this game can be their best selves. I hope that things improve dramatically and that there can be some sense of community in the over-arcing game that is this hellscape.

So many people that I've met in this game are absolutely wonderful. Many of them have had hardships because of this game and the people in it that they didn't deserve, and while that breaks my heart I am ultimately glad to have them in my life. Caer Sidi will live on as it's own independent gaming community, and if you are there you're always welcome to stay.

To everyone who's been there for me along the way, I love you all so much and appreciate your friendship and support. To the rest of you, I wish you well.
