Embassy Protocols
Embassies with Sector Zero are restricted to regions which have had an embassy grant committed to the repository.

Embassy Protocols refer to the process of evaluating a region, and clearing it for an embassy grant. Region Evaluation consists of:

  • Region Scoring: Regions are scored following the algorithm used in the embassy scoring automation

  • Manual Review: Embassy Protocol requests are manually reviewed to filter out undersirable embassies that cannot be easily caught via script.

If a region has a positive score, and passes the manual review, a commit is made which represents the granting of an in-game embassy.

Embassy Requirements
Requests for an In-Game embassy before the ratification of an embassy grant will be rejected.

Tags
Tags will be used to determine a region's score with the embassy scoring automation Additionally, Regions

  • using the fascist tag

  • using fascist imagery

  • using fascist terminology in region name, WFE, or other fields

  • with Delegates or ROs that

    • have fascist flags

    • have fascist terminology in user-filled fields

will be rejected.

Manual Review Embassy Grants are reviewed first by whichever Ratifier is processing them, and subject to final review by the Prime Ratifier prior to being committed to the repository. At any time during Manual Review, the Prime Ratifier may terminate Embassy Protocols.

Third-Party Embassies Requests from regions possessing embassies with regions condemned by Sector Zero will be rejected. Requests from regions possessing embassies with regions exhibiting the Fascist tag will be rejected.

Embassy Protocol Revocation Sector Zero reserves the right to, where not in conflict with any other protocol, revoke any Embassy Protocol. Regions lacking embassy protocols will have their In-Game embassy withdrawn.

Discretionary Reservation Sector Zero reserves the right to, for any reason, deny requests for Embassy Protocols or Embassy Grants, at any stage of the process.

Initiating Embassy Protocols
Embassy Protocols must be initiated by a nation with the Embassies Regional Officer authority. In order to initiate Embassy Protocols, a properly formatted SZTP message must be posted in Hardline The format of an Embassy Protocol Request message is as follows,

It is recommended that the body of your request is not empty, and includes for what purpose you are seeking an embassy with Sector Zero.

Repository Embassy
Regions that have been given embassy grants are not required to build in-game embassies. They will be listed (along with their score, and the commit ratifying their embassy grant) on the Embassy Grant dispatch.
