The Status Ecclesiasticus - often referred to as the Papal States - is a Catholic state in Central Italy with a population of several million. Power is centered in the city of Rome, where the Pope sits as Supreme Pontiff and head of the Catholic Church. Besides from his spiritual role, the Pope holds significant temporal power in the Papal States which has recently begun a process of liberal reform. Under the reform, the Papal States have seen a federal devolution of authority from religious leadership to elected representatives from the various regions of the country.
Russian Empire Baikala
Having undergone extensive liberal reforms, the Russian government operates with significant power held by the people's representatives in the legislature, though Russia remains an expansionist and aggressive power. On account of economic reforms, Russia has begun its industrialization as the last vestiges of serfdom fade into obscurity. It's imperial ambitions are presently focused on Central Asia and the Pacific.
Sicilian Republic Ukrayinaros
The Sicilian Republic is a predominantly Greek and Orthodox nation tracing its heritage back to the ancient city-states of Magna Graecia and rule under the Eastern Roman Empire. From its capital in Syracuse the mercantile republican government rules over a thalassocratic empire in the central Mediterranean Sea. Its industrial development is spearheaded by its extensive trade networks, as well as foreign investments from - and cooperation with - the great powers of Europe.

- Non-Player Countries (NPC's) (Major nations shown in very muted/dark colours, minor nations shown in grey)
Organized nations not controlled by another player. They can be interacted with after you receive approval from a Cultural Agent.
- Decentralized Lands (shown in white)
Decentralized Lands can be colonized if you roleplay out the establishment of the colony and the retaliation you may encounter from natives. Colonization is a time-consuming process, so please aim to maintain a degree of realism.
