Information in this dispatch is OOC (out of character). Fun facts, fundamental information, and some personal anecdotes about myself are all available! Housing

In addition to my childhood home in Long Island, I currently own and live in a house in a suburban area outside of Orlando. I occasionally take vacations to Long Island and occasionally return to take care of my home.

Place of Birth

Saint-Laurent, Quebec, Canada, is where I was born. My mother is Dutch, while my father is French-Canadian. Although I was born in Canada, I have been an American citizen since I was a young child. My parents relocated to New York for employment before I turned one, even though I was born in Canada.

Where I Grew Up

I was raised in Riverhead, New York. After my father passed away a few years ago, I was actually fortunate enough to buy the Long Island house where I grew up. Even if I personally detest New York now, I will always be incredibly passionate about and supportive of my hometown. Prior to attending Upstate New York's Siena College, I resided on Long Island. After completing my official studies, I went back to Riverhead.

Where I Am Today

At the moment, I reside in the Port Orange region outside of Orlando, which is a suburban area. I moved to Florida in 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. I adore the state's weather, climate, natural surroundings, beaches, atmosphere, theme parks, etc. My best friend and I currently co-own a construction and real estate company in Orlando, and I have no intention of leaving the state or the city.

Education

I completed primary education, vocational education, and college education! I went to and completed law school as well. I completed all of my schooling in New York State.

Primary Education

For doxing purposes, I won't reveal where I attended preschool, elementary school, middle school, or high school. I will just reveal that I attended a Long Island private Catholic primary school. In 2009, I received my high school diploma and graduated (use that information as you see fit).

Vocational Education

During my high school years, I participated in a QUESTAR (vocational) program. I earned a Technical Advancement on my high school diploma after completing the criminal justice program. Back in high school, I participated in SkillsUSA in conjunction with my QUESTAR program. Because of QUESTAR, I was fortunate enough to have a two-week internship with my DA's office during my senior year of high school. As part of my criminal justice program, I also completed the formal training and exams to earn my National 911 Dispatch Certification (APCO) and New York State Security Guard Certification.

College Education

In 2010, I was awarded a track and field sports scholarship to attend Siena College, where I graduated in 2014. I earned a master's degree in political science with minors in digital art, photography, and criminal justice. I participated in track and field, as previously stated. During my time in college, I lived in the dorms and spent the summer returning to Long Island. I belonged to the campus Young Republicans club. After graduating, I worked various jobs for a year while applying to and getting ready for law school. I enrolled in a number of free courses for the SUNY-Albany Emergency Preparedness, Homeland Security, and Cybersecurity Program during my gap year. I graduated from Albany Law School in 2018 after being admitted in 2015. I returned to Long Island to be near my family because almost all of the classes were online, and I would travel to Albany for major exams and midterms. A significant turning point in my life is earning my doctorate in law. I never had the opportunity to attend my college graduations with my mother, who passed away in 2011. My college degrees are a tribute to everything she has done for me throughout my life.

Career

My first jobs were at Five Guys, Target, Dunkin' Donuts, and eventually a border patrol agent. During COVID, I was employed as a criminal justice instructor at a vocational school. My closest friend and I currently co-own a real estate and construction company in Orlando.

Early Work

I used to work at Five Guys back in high school. As a minor at the time, I was responsible for bagging up, calling out orders, frying fries, managing the front counter, cleaning, and preparation. I would close the store as well. Back then, my hourly wage was $6.75. For the rest of my high school career, I worked as a cashier and restocker at Target. Back then, my hourly wage was $7.50. I earned $11.00 per hour plus tips when working at a Dunkin' Donuts close to my school throughout my time in college. On weekends, I worked mornings. On weekdays, I closed the store. In my last year at Dunkin, I received a promotion to shift leader.

Border Patrol

I had a hard time deciding what I wanted to do with my life after law school, so I ended up working as an intern at various law firms before getting hired by Custom Enforcement (Border Patrol). Canada and New York have a shared border, and drug smuggling from Canada into the US is still a problem. My former criminal justice instructor suggested the job, so I applied. I was a Border Patrol agent in New York State from 2018 to 2021 (I quit during COVID and for political reasons). I won't give a precise figure, but the salary range was about $40.00 an hour. The election and following tenure of Joe Biden as president was the primary cause of my resignation as a Border Patrol agent. The wage and bonus increases from the previous Trump administration were curtailed or eliminated completely, and significant changes in policies and enforcement were implemented. I relocated to Florida because of the severe COVID-19 restrictions and lockdown procedures in New York State. I took part in the dismantling of marijuana trades and minor drug offenses, but I didn't do any significant drug busts or anything fancy. I also assisted with the custody of a few Canadian immigrants who came to the United States illegally.

Teaching

In 2021, after moving to Florida during COVID, I took a brief and delightful vacation from working for a few months. Eventually, I was hired as a criminal justice instructor at a vocational school. It was among the most unusual but spectacular things I've ever done. In 2023, I had the opportunity to teach overseas courses in Australia and New Zealand. I mostly adopted the methods of my first criminal justice instructors, adding my own flair and experience. In 2024, I took the chance to leave my teaching position to launch a business with my best friend. I can state this much: teachers don't receive the credit or compensation they deserve for all of their hard work.

Company

To avoid getting too technical, I co-founded a real estate and construction company with my best friend. Despite difficulties, the business managed to survive until 2026, when we secured a significant construction-related licensing agreement with a partner agency. I am quite proud of what my firm has become today, even though I have been incredibly busy helping run affairs and even doing some day-to-day work alongside my colleagues. You can never truly comprehend what it's like to be your own boss.

Hobbies

Each of us has unique interests and pastimes that define who we are. We all have lives off of NationStates, and that's important to remember.

Interests

1. Traveling: I've visited nearly all 50 states and 32 other countries. I love going on vacation and going on cruises.

2. Walking/Running/Hiking: Since the fifth grade, I have participated in cross-country and track & field. I've run a few marathons and adore everything running-related!

3. Camping/Hunting/Fishing: I'm a big nature guy! Growing up, my mom, siblings, and I would go camping and fishing. In college, I went hunting for the first time with a few new friends, and I've since grown to love the hunting community. Even if I don't do it as often these days, I still support and adore it!

4. Reading/Writing/Art: I've always enjoyed reading and writing, so call me a nerd! In essence, my home office is a library. This dispatch already describes some of my favorite books. I enjoy writing short stories, but you won't find anything I've written in the world. I have a sizable collection of photographs in my portfolio, and I minored in both digital art and photography.

5. General Entertainment: Who doesn't enjoy plays, movies, TV shows, music, and theme parks? Among the greatest cultural peaks that humanity has to offer is general entertainment!

6. Politics/Research/Studying/Working: You can call me a nerd, as I have previously stated! I like doing research and discovering new things. I enjoy reading and learning about the past. I enjoy being active in contemporary politics. I particularly enjoy my job. I'm aware that most people don't enjoy their jobs, but I do. I couldn't be happier being my own boss and having as much freedom and productivity as I do now.

7. Financial & Investment Projects: The stock market is something I adore! I won't discuss much here, but I enjoy collecting currencies and have a lot of assets. My One Piece collection is arguably the strangest investment and collection I have ever made and am still collecting.

Inspiriations

Everyone, in my opinion, has someone that motivates them to achieve more success in life, to do better. I never gave it much attention, but I might as well compile the greatest and most precise list of individuals for myself. I also made the decision to name my favorite people on NationStates because certain people frequently have asked me to do so. Don't worry if your name isn't on the list! In essence, my NS list is updated every week (and it's mostly for fun, don't take it too seriously).

People Who Inspire Me

1. John F. Kennedy: In fact, I wrote several college essays about JFK and his family. His ascent to prominence in politics is a singular tale. Despite his severe illness and frail body, he was driven and passionate about moving forward. His untold tale of a war hero. As the country's first Catholic president, he broke down obstacles to the acceptance of Catholicism in American politics. We Northeast boys always stick together, and he happened to grow up only a state away from me. He was president during one of the most memorable periods in US history—the height of the Cold War—and I personally love history.

2. Nick Vujicic: Nick experienced severe physical and psychological difficulties from infancy, such as bullying and low self-esteem, because he was born without arms and legs owing to tetra-amelia syndrome. He showed the strength of perseverance and a positive outlook by accepting his circumstances and concentrating on what he could accomplish rather than what he could not, rather than allowing these challenges to define him. Nick's journey is greatly influenced by his faith, which gives him direction and fortitude amid trying circumstances. His message of love, support, and resiliency is reinforced by his personal relationships, which include his wife, Kanae Miyahara, and his family. I have a few of his books, and it's really amazing to see what even people can accomplish when confronted with such obstacles in life.

3. The Dalai Lama: It is incredibly motivating to hear the Dalai Lama and observe how he practices Buddhism because, rather than saying, "The way I'm doing it is the right way," he creates opportunities for us to realize that we are all equal and that, as human beings, we can all find inner peace and share it with others. Even though I'm not a Buddhist, I believe he is a very special religious leader and speaker of our times despite the fact that there are a million different lessons and teachings I could get into. It is already horrifying what China has done to Tibet.

4. Mother Teresa: In Calcutta, India, Mother Teresa dedicated her life to helping the sick, impoverished, and dying; she frequently worked one-on-one with people who had been shunned by society. Her practical care at hospices, orphanages, and leper colonies showed that sincere compassion and attention to human suffering could give the most vulnerable people hope and dignity, motivating many others to take up humanitarian work. In order to help the "poorest of the poor," Mother Teresa founded the Missionaries of Charity in 1950. Mother Teresa was a living example of faith, perseverance, and humility. She is an important role model that I will look to for guidance as I consider my own journey and try to reintegrate religion (Catholicism) into my life.

5. Dolly Parton: She funded local educational programs and provided scholarships through the Dollywood Foundation, such as the Dolly Parton Scholarship for high school seniors in Sevier County. She founded the Imagination Library, a free monthly book-giving initiative for children from birth to age five, regardless of their financial situation, after being inspired by her illiterate father. By 2025, the initiative had sent more than 300 million books to kids all around the world, encouraging literacy and a lifetime love of reading. In an effort to save endangered bald eagles, she established the Eagle Mountain Sanctuary at Dollywood, a 30,000-square-foot habitat run by the American Eagle Foundation. Dolly Parton's legacy is characterized by her belief in giving from the heart; her dedication to literacy, education, and community resilience; and her capacity to transform her success into significant, long-lasting change.

Pets

To begin with, let me state that I adore animals. Throughout my life, I have had numerous pets. I occasionally volunteer at a nearby shelter in Orlando and make monthly donations to it. It's nothing outrageous or excessive, but if there are two things I can do to change the world, they are to make sure that pets are safe, secure, and loved and to contribute to improving the planet even after I'm gone.

Childhood Pets

My parents brought two cats home when I was a toddler: Buster, an all-black fluffy cat, and Angel, a gray-and-white tabby. When I was in middle school, Angel, our outdoor cat, went out one night and never returned. When I was in college, Buster—basically my sister's cat—died in his sleep. When I was in high school, we eventually adopted a dog named Lady, who sadly died in 2024.

* After my mother passed away while I was in college in 2011, I adopted my own cat. Max is a gray-and-white tomcat. He is still alive and in excellent health. I have never encountered a more affectionate cat than him.

Current Pets

As mentioned above, Max, the cat I adopted while in college, is still alive and still lives with me. In 2020, I also adopted two other cats: Cuddles, a tuxedo cat, and Gizmo, a chocolate point Siamese. Zeus is the name of my German Shepherd, which I adopted in 2018 as a graduation present to myself. Liefde (Love) is the name of my Netherland Dwarf rabbit.
