The Silver Dragon is the Overlord of all affairs of the Lair, and dotes upon the Lair's hardest working denizens.

» The Lair and the Hoard «
The Lair of the Dragon serves a two-fold purpose: to grow the hoard of treasures, and to grow the hoard of creatures that gather treasures. There are several different types of treasures that the Silver Dragon craves; the treasure of GPD, the treasure of Artwork, the treasure of Gold Coins, and the treasure of Prestige. The Kobolds, Wyrms, and other denizens that make up the hoard of creatures are tasked with gathering these treasures. Those who do well are rewarded with treasures and accolades, and those who do poorly... Well, the treasure of a tasty sacrifice makes up for their failures.

However, in an attempt to keep a semblance of order within the lair and ensure that accidental or intentional arson does not befall anyone's hoard, the Silver Dragon is known to on occasion pursue activities outside of treasure gathering.

The Draconic Archmages represent the pinnacle of hoarding treasures of GDP, Artwork, and Gold Coins.

» The Treasure of GPD «
Entities that work for the as-of-yet untouchable realm known as 'World Census' have the understandable urge to measure the size of each hoard and put silly labels such as 'Economy', 'Economic Output', and 'Average Income'. While such breakdowns of various hoards are time wasted on actions that could otherwise be spent growing the hoards measured, the Silver Dragon desires the Lair of the Dragon to rightfully sit atop these charts. Denizens are strongly encouraged to comply and increase these rankings for their personal hoards however they can.

» The Treasure of Artwork «
Another label that the realm of 'World Census' tracks separately is the value of every denizen's hoard of Artwork. These 'cards' display the various denizens of the world and are coveted among many realms. While the acquisition of a single card is a relatively simple and straightforward task, the hoarding of hundreds and of valuable cards is a feat in and of itself, and thus those who grow both their own hoard and that of the Lair's are favored greatly by the Silver Dragon. There are numerous resources written by the denizens of other realms that those within the Lair can use for their own benefit in order to make embarking on this daunting quest less burdensome.

» The Treasure of Gold Coins «
There are actions and quests beyond the growing of one's personal hoard that the 'World Census' cannot account for, but the Silver Dragon does not wish for the Lair's denizens to go unrewarded for their actions. LinkWithin the sub-realm known as 'Discord', the Silver Dragon rewards efforts with Gold Coins from her personal hoard. Quests, welcoming Townsfolk and Adventurers, and the recruitment of new Kobolds are some of the ways Denizens may earn coinage.

The Lair Lords are given a Mandate from the Greatwyrms, and oversee the Prestige of both denizens and the Lair.

» The Treasure of Prestige «
The treasure of Prestige is less tangible than other treasures gathered in the Lair, but it is no less important due to its immaterial nature. A hoard is in and of itself a worthwhile endeavor to be proud of, but its glory is heightened by other realms knowing of it and either respecting, fearing, or envying it. There are several ways for the denizens of the Lair to gain Prestige for us all:
  • In the gathering of realms known as 'World Assembly', passing resolutions that serve to increase our other treasures is a joyous occasion, and successfully passing a resolution written by a Lair denizen is cause for great celebration.

  • Gathering allies and adventurers from other realms that would establish trade and relations is highly prized.

  • When the Silver Dragon or one of the Thunder Lords calls for it, the taking of another realm to seize its treasures and denizens is a most lucrative endeavor.

  • Celebrating the triumphs of the Lair in the gathering voices of all the world's denizens, in good taste, can spread the Word of the Dragon to those who have not yet heard tale of our Hoard.

» Time Spent not Pursuing Treasures «
After a long day of hearing the pleas of Townsfolk, tales from wandering Adventurers of their distant realms' accomplishments, and ensuring the Kobolds don't burn the entire lair down again, the Silver Dragon invites all the denizens and Townsfolk to partake in enthusing about dragons in all their forms and representations. The denizens lounge together in the Linksub-realm 'Discord' and play games, watch movies, and discuss the happenings of their hoard and all the realms they've seen. After all, caring for one's self and ensuring peak condition will allow all the Lair to go forth as their best self come morrow.
