Image gathered from security footage provided by Kaufner's Inc.

At 12:02am, after the closure of a Kaufner's doors by Kaufner's employees Cora Mclean, Kira Melendez, Raymond Livingston, and Darren Horne, Cora Mclean entered her vehicle, a 2014 jeep, and closed the door. When she started the vehicle, a bright pink light radiated outward from inside the vehicle quickly followed by a sudden and rapid growth of pink plant material also from within the vehicle. Cora Mclean was show making an attempt to flee the vehicle, but only managed to open the vehicle door.

Coworker Raymond Livingston dialed for authorities, of whom reported the incident to the Carner Institute. At the scene, the vehicle was found to have been overgrown in plant growth material, specifically that of a cherry blossom tree. In its spread throughout the vehicle, it had also pierced through into the body of Cora Mclean multiple times resulting in much of her body having been mutilated by plant matter.

Upon investigation, a device was found connected to the car that, while operating like a car bomb, did not set off an explosion. The device had carried seeds within it that, when powered by the vehicle's engine, caused their rapid germination and maturation. The electrical energy of the vehicle, when colliding with the chemicals within the seeds and the device, underwent a conversion to radiant energy, resulting in the bright light produced within the video.

Examination by Beholders found an equivalent pattern of anomalous force here as they have with previous incidents caused by the Alberdeen Gardener's Club, leading investigators to consider this their work. Motive is unknown. The situation has been classified as an act of esoteric terrorism.
