Kolloquia's First N-Day

The Island of Kolloquia's first N-Day participation was in the eighth iteration of the event, which began at 11am Kolloquian Standard Time (KST), on Sunday the 26th of Febuary, 2023. Kolloquia was a member of the faction, Mutually assured destruction, founded by fellow members of Mismatched Masterpiece. Kolloquia, as a pacifist nation, aimed to provide as many shields as possible to defend Mutually assured destruction to the best of its ability. Auxilia made our first move of the day by successfully, though without authorisation, nuking the nation of The Democratic States of Ancapmarkt - a member of the Independent Liberation Front (ILF). This triggered a quick response from the ILF, who targeted hundreds of nukes at various nations in Mutually assured destruction, though Kolloquia was not one of these. However, Kolloquia did participate in the battle, by successfully intercepting 23 missiles launched at Bob fat man by The Empire of The Monarchist Society, and then another 35 launched at The Republic of Zealaidania by The Armed Republic of Independent Liberation Forces. After faring well against the enemy for about an hour, surviving nations made a tactical retreat to MAD Bunker - our backup faction. Whilst there, we made peace with the ILF, and Kolloquia once again began stockpiling shields. However, those shields were not used. At the end of the eighth N-Day, Kolloquia survived and thrived with zero radiation, and 58 intercepts.
