Coup of 2022 [WIP]

In 3rd May, 2022, citizens in Sherman begins to see tanks driving around the roads there, and more and more closer to the Congressional Building and the Presidential House. The Military are attempting a coup after the devastating result of the election held in the same year.

After the Government was re-elected by a smaller margin and the Incumbent President, Paul Laxalt, was re-elected, right-wing fraction of the military was disappointed as the opposition, consists of the centre to right Liberals are expected to win the House and the Senate. They are very unsatisfied with most of the Government's policies, especially the Parental License and the expansion of the welfare program. They decided to start a coup in order to stop the government and the President Laxalt from taking the oath in the Congressional Building.

On 9.20am that day, tanks arrived at the Congressional Building and the Presidential House, along with armed supporters and the military. They begin to go inside the Congressional Building one by one. The Security there attempts to stop the supporters from going in, but was unable to do so after them was being assaulted by the military.
