Introduction:
This is a Text-based Satire Political Simulation Game called Nationstates. You play as a Leader of your nation that you can shape in your view based on the Issues that will be given to you in determined waiting time that eventually maxed out up to 1 issue per 6 hours. Any issues answer will give you an unforeseen consequences, expect some result that beyond believe. After all it's a satire.

That's pretty much the core of the game. However, the player are let to be free to do different way to play and it varies on every players and regions. Some are into a Role-play based on the stats and some using a completely different sets, Some are into Raiding/Defending Mechanic, and many Regions have made a relation with other region, fight with other region(more like a banter on each other), and do a cultural event OR all of the above.

It is crucial to make this kind of perception since most new nation are straight away want War or Alliance with the other nation without understanding the game and its Mechanic. Hence, the reason this Guide are made among hundreds of other guides.

IF YOU ARE NEW TO NATIONSTATES, THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD DO FIRST

1) Block the Recruitment Type Telegram
this will block the telegram that bombarded you with recruitment from lots of region. By open the Telegram Page then click on Preferences. In Telegram Preference page, there will be a table that you can set it as you preferred.
Find the Recruitment row and choose "Block all".

2) Join World Assembly
It would be nice to vote on something. The World Assembly (once known as United Nations... the reason why they change it are quite Interesting... since it also happen in April 1st and most players at that time thought it was a joke... so, anyway) is the embodiment of player and their nation.
Before you join World Assembly, you must sure that you have one e-mail that it only purpose is for Nationstates (well, i mean you can use your own e-mail but, it will clutter your inbox). That one e-mail must have listed in your nation settings.

once it's fixed, you can Apply to Join World Assembly by open the World Assenbly Page. after that, you will have an e-mail from Nationstates that include a link. Click that link and it will redirect you to confirm to Join World Assembly.

Something to remember: you cannot have more than 1 Nation in World Assembly. Regardless on how many nation you have, every one of it must have same e-mail account.
that act is called WA Multies and it is frowned upon and considered as cheating by [violet] (Nationstates Moderator) and could affect the gameplay for other player.

Congratulation, now you are a World Assembly member and as a member, you can vote on Legislation from
i) General Assembly (GA) that effecting your nation stats... whether you want it or not
ii) Security Council (SC) where this is the political standing between Regions, between players and their nation across Nationstates shows.

Other than that, you can endorse another WA member in the same region. Whoever have most endorsement in that region will become World Assembly Delegate.
Since in Indonesia Raya have not form it's formal position for WA Delegate, this will be free for all... as in, you can endorse any nation in Indonesia Raya that look fit for delegating our region in World Assembly.

We are using Discord as our offsite chat beside RMB, since it's easier to manage, to organize, and possibly plan a conspiracy against the public To form a proper Government. The server right now are pretty basic, couple of specified channel for it specified purpose and couple hidden channel if you want to help more with Indonesia Raya. in this Discord server, we could help you more with more advanced mechanic, to discuss politics of some regions around Nationstates, or even to discuss a real life politics.
