Highlandic Guiana Declares War on Virgin Islands

SAINT MARTIN, H.V.I.: The Highlandic Defence is mobilising after Highlandic Guyanese President Marcus Gomez announced a declaration of war against the Highlandic Virgin Islands today. The Highland Union's military has worked with the HVI Grand Army on providing training and equipment, and both armies are prepared to defend the Islands against invasion or attack by Highlandic Guiana.

This event comes merely days after the former Commonwealth nation was overthrown and its government replaced with a Communist dictatorial regime, as well as failures to establish diplomacy between Highlandic Guiana and the Commonwealth.
