very isolationist due to physical seperation. history of self sufficiency

kind of built like a hivemind but genuinely benevolent. like if a cult didnt go down the sex pervert line

few peoples of similar/the same religion came together, maybe to defeat/escape common enemy, maybe uniting some islands after civil/religious war.

monotheists, the breath of life, respect for plant life and the environment with a recognition that it's a part of us,
value science relating to biology, natural processes, and productive/healing technology. value technology and industry but not at environmental costs.

ECONOMY
genuinely how do you generate an economy without tanking yr environment or doing colonialism lol. maybe education.

GEOGRAPHY

mountains in the middle? to the east/west? ideally i'd like a climate similar to vancouver, rainforesty. many seaside cliffs.

at least 1 large river of cultural significance, smaller ones locally important. salmon culture.

large old growth forests

some flat areas, esp river valleys

cities in the mountains, not car based

POLITICAL STRUCTURE
theocracy. godking leader who can also be a woman. some like dalai lama type selection process of some random child to groom them to be the perfect leader in align w religious values and be highly educated.

the government = the military basically, there are civillian branches but they are also run quite structuredly.

beneath the godking (which does need a less insane title as well) there should be some kind of group maybe? or a few other leaders.

voting is not a thing but the country is also extremely socialist with no private economy, and quite isolationist and religious, so the leaders aren't in the worst favor. leaders like to fulfill the religious obligation of serving the people. the people are polled to see their opinions.

the government has its hands in almost everything except people's personal lives.

RELIGION

somewhat in tune with the earth, the value of the environment is weaved in

monotheists, not even god vs satan but just god. the universe as god's shadow

each person as a god guided individual

prayer more as a tool to tap into the universe, speak to god, than to ask for favors and wishes

community values woven in, importance of caring for one another and respecting one another. children are highly valued and cared for by the community, rampant reproduction is not. abortion has traditional basis in many societies and is acceptable.

transgender people are considered "elevated", not like inherently holy but closer to it

temperment: tend to be cold, distant, but will not abandon. tough love but actual love and not torment.
