Geography

---

Accipitridia resides in Usonea in which vast amounts of its land is occupied by desert. To its south lies the Naaraku Desert, a flat region of the country with searing constant heat. This region is home to the country's underground farms and solar farms which provides power to the nearby towns and cities. To its west is the Lai Ka Marsh, a warm and humid area home to marshes. There it is home to the country's algae farms where barrels of algae are sent to refineries in the cities to be transformed into fuel. And lastly, the Gulf of Kiyen is an area where most of Accipitridia's urban areas are. They are connected by fast-travelling monorail systems.

Politics

Accipitridia is an absolutist monarchy. All of its power is centralized in the Imperial Complex situated in the capital city of Kiyen. The Imperial Complex comprises of two tiers. The top having all the power is the Emperor and second are the ministries that are in charge of Accipitridia's inner workings. When an emperor dies, he shall be replaced by his youngest adult son. If the emperor has no sons, then a daughter shall be chosen.

Meritocracy

Accipitridia is ruled by a meritocracy. This is a government in which political power is given to people with the highest skill rather than social class or wealth. Accipitrid hatchlings are taught algebra by first grade and by sixth grade they are taught mathematics that only a 12th grader should know. This education system is critical to giving Accipitrids the best education the country has to offer.

Contribution to Society

The Accipitrids have a phrase commonly refered as "Too weak to work, too weak to live.", this refers to their beliefs in only the able-bodied should live as they are the ones that contribute to the country. Those who have lost limbs will be given a prosthetic for free as well as a week's worth of rest and recovery before being sent back to work.

Accipitridia has a capitalist economy employed with a workforce taught in mass-apprenticeship, low corruption, and medium levels of innovation. Their main exports are toys, construction hardware, electronics, and medical equipment. The income of this trade is routed towards the improvement of the country's infrastructure, education, and administration.

Infrastructure

Monorails are a popular method of public transport in Accipitridia's cities. One such famous monorail line is the Kiyen Monorail which runs everyday 24/7 to transport passengers from one part of the city to the other. Connecting Accipitridia's major and minor cities are highways and train lines. On these train line, passenger and cargo trains populate these lines.

Accipitridia's power sources run on solar, wind, and geothermal power. Accipitrid small-scale vehicles are powered using biofuel resources. These biofuels are refined in dedicated refineries where wastes are transformed into fuel. The refineries situated in cities are usually connected to sewage systems to turn fecal matter into biofuel to be used for cars and trains.

Trains

Monorail Trains are filled with accomodations to keep their passengers entertained. In each monorail station, there is a robot to help make the quickest route for their passenger. Accipitrids can make transactions easily using their mobile phone and they can pay either in cryptocurrency or currency all through digital means for easier payment. There are two types of Monorail systems, one being the Interstate Monorail System (IMS) which travels across the country from city to city, and the Local Monorail System (LMS) that travel across the city.

Accipitridia has a very vibrant culture. Their cuisine is only meat and grain based due to their digestive system not being able to tolerate fruits and vegetables. With an intolerance to such foods, this paved way to weird but unique dishes. The Accipitrids tends to favor vibrant-colored silk dresses and shirts. Males and females tend to wear headgarbs when temperatures are high outside.

Music

Traditiona Accipitrid music consists of wooden guitar-like stringed instruments with five strings to produce various tones. Another instrument is a clapper made out of wood to produce a clacking sound. Partner dancing is a very prevalent dance in the country as this is seen as courtship to the Accipitrids. One such dance is the Oknaat, a fast-paced partner dance between a male and female Accipitrid. This type of dance revolves around a 4/4 rhythm and focuses on fluid coreography like being able to dance like water.

Everything Expensive

The Upper Class consists of occupations like high-ranking military generals, priests, politicians, CEOs, and political advisors.
The upper class tends to have an obsession with everything lavish. They may have ornamental decorations, paintings, and sculptures in their homes. Not only that, they also have servants, maids, and housekeepers to tend to their homes. This provides luxury to the upper-class citizens but also employment for lower-class citizens. Occupations like these often fetch very-good salaries as the upper-class needs to have their servants happy so they can work efficiently.

The rich and powerful usually have mansions as their place of living. These residential buildings have garages to house their expensive cars, gardens to display their beautiful flowers, and a separate building to house the servants.

Honor

Honor plays a major role in the Accipitrid culture. In accordance to their religious law, when an enemy surrenders, the Accipitrid must accept their surrender. In addition, enemy soldiers are to be treated as warriors. They will be treated with honor and respect. Those who do not treat prisoners with dignity and honor are usually shunned upon. Honor is not only present in warfare, it is also present in everyday life too. In the workplace, subordinates must treat their employer with respect and so does the employer.

Love

Accipitrids believe that only a male and a female should be married. Same-gender love and affection isn't frowned upon but considered weird. Homosexual couples are treated the same as their heterosexual couples as the Accipitrids believe only the Holy Phoenix and his disciples should judge them based on the actions they did in their lives.

Cuisine

With Accipitrids and related ethnicities being purely carnivores, all of their foods are made out of meat and/or nuts and seeds.

Public Shaming

Individuals who refuse to work for a bad reason will be publicly shamed by the people. Those who commit heinous crimes will also be publicly shamed. Crimes like mass-murder will result in not just the perpetrator's shaming, but the whole family being shamed.

Religion

Religion plays an important role in Accipitrid life. Every sixth day of the week, Accipitrids would flock to their nearby temples and worship their deity known as the Holy Phoenix. They burn sticks of incense and chant prayers to the effigy of the Phoenix. Temple worship lasts from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Burials are non-existent in Accipitridia and pyre burnings are common. This is due to the belief that burning a body on top of a funeral pyre is considered holy. In burning the body, the soul released from their body and is sent to the afterlife.
