Its primary objective is to foster a connection between Community Members and the World Assembly, integrating its institutions and principles into our way of life. Furthermore, it aims to strengthen the presence of the World Assembly within the Valley, promoting the exchange of endorsements among members to gain influence both individually and for the region as a whole.
The World Assembly (WA) functions as the governing body of NationStates. While membership in the WA is voluntary, all WA Members adhere to the resolutions passed by the organization. The World Assembly consists of two branches: the General Assembly (GA) and the Security Council (SC). The GA focuses on international legislation, covering various topics such as rights and consumer protection. On the other hand, the SC focuses on promoting peace and prosperity through actions such as liberations, commendations, and condemnations of nations and regions.
By becoming a Community Member and joining the World Assembly, you have the opportunity to exchange endorsements with other members. By endorsing the Delegate, you play a crucial role in safeguarding the region's security and enhancing our voting power in the World Assembly. As a token of appreciation, we offer monthly prizes and awards, including EPIC AND LEGENDARY trading cards, to individuals who demonstrate significant contributions to the region. Excited about joining? Fantastic! To become a member of the World Assembly, you'll need to follow a few simple steps. First, head over to the World Assembly page and locate the "Apply to Join" button. Click on it to proceed with your application. It's important to note that you'll need to have an email associated with your nation. If you haven't done so already, go to your settings page and add an email to your account. Keep in mind that the World Assembly only allows one nation per member, so multiple WA nations simultaneously are not permitted.
Once you have clicked the "Apply to Join!" button, the World Assembly will promptly notify you about your application. Keep an eye out for a notification in your email inbox, as the World Assembly will send the application confirmation to the email address you provided during the process. This notification serves as acknowledgment that your application has been successfully submitted and is being processed. Be sure to check your email for further updates and instructions from the World Assembly regarding the status of your application.
After receiving the notification, navigate to your email inbox to locate the email from NationStates related to your application. Look for the specific email that corresponds to your World Assembly application. Open the email and you will find important information and instructions regarding the final step of the process.
In some cases, you might not immediately locate the email from the game in your primary inbox. If this happens, it's recommended to check your spam or junk folder as the email may have been automatically filtered into that folder by your email provider. By checking your spam box, you can ensure that you don't miss any important communication from NationStates regarding your application.
Upon clicking the link mentioned in step three, you will be directed to your web browser, where you will encounter a page titled "Confirm: Join World Assembly." On this page, you will find a button that prompts you to confirm your membership. By clicking this button, you will have completed the final step of the process!
