The Confederal Assembly

Mission Statement of the Assembly

The Confederal Assembly serves as the legislative body of the United Landon Confederation. It is tasked with passing laws, resolutions, and acts which uphold the promises of the Preamble to the Charter. The Confederal Assembly must serve as a force of good and pass laws necessary to the continued survival of the Confederation and its member states as well as the protection of the Confederations allies.

Rights and Duties of Members of the Assembly

All members of the United Landon Confederation who do not participate in the Council of Ministers or the Executive Branch are Members of the Assembly. Any member states of the Confederation who are not left leaning governments and do not have explicit permission from the Executive Minister are not permitted to participate within the Confederal Assembly.

Members of the Assembly are required to participate in votes which are marked "Urgent". When Members of the Assembly are appointed to a Committee or Commission, they must participate in said Committee or Commission. Members must read the laws and proposals which are proposed to the Confederal Assembly so that they may better understand where to put their vote.

Members of the Assembly reserve to right to draft proposals and submit them to the Speaker of the Assembly. Members may also request the Speaker of Assembly to form Committees and Commissions.
