4. Playoffs are played in a one-game bracket system, with the team that finished higher in the regular season getting home-field advantage, unless exactly one of the two teams is a conference winner, in which the conference winner gets home-field advantage.
6. Seeding is as follows. The two teams that won their conference get a bye. The rest of the bracket is then seeded based on regular season results of the combined table. The regular season winner gets to be on the opposite side of the bracket to the team that finished highest in the regular season when excluding the two conference winners.

Located in Lorenvia, Neolexia, the Lorenvia Quasar is one of the most decorated teams in Wizlandia. In the Wizlandian Football League, which proceeded the establishment of the Wizlandian Premier League, the Quasar's won the second most games (362), the most cumulative points (1265), the second most first place finishes (7), and the most WFL Championships (7). Owned by Lorenvia Financial, the Quasar's are the wealthiest team in the WPL, and consistently have the highest payroll of all teams in the WPL.
The Quasar's are one of the most popular teams in Wizlandia. The organisation has a foundational philosophy based on playing attacking, possession football; the team regularly finishes the season with the most possession, the most passes, and the most passes in the opponents half. The Quasar's current roster boasts many of the leagues best players, including the false-nine Luka Akana, the attacking midfielder Victor Vazquez, and the playmaking-defensive midfielder Pedro Ximinez.
The Quasar's have a rivalry with the Johor Ravens, their cross-town neighbours to the north, in addition to the South Avax Devils, whom historically were their biggest competitor in the WFL Championship and league titles. The Quasar-Devils rivalry is considered one of the most intense in the world, and is often identified with opposing political positions, with the Quasar's viewed as representing Peninsula-Nationalism and Liberalism, and the Devil's viewed as representing Javanese Nationalism and Socialism.

Located in the south of Port Avax, the South Avax Devils were one of the most successful in the early years of the Wizlandian Football League, the predecessor to the Wizlandian Premier League, winning the most games (364), the second most points (1261), the most first place finishes (10), and two WFL Championships. Founded by the South Avax Autoworkers Union (SAAU), the South Avax Devils is a owned by SAAU members, with each member having one voting share.
The South Avax Devils are one of the most popular teams in Wizlandia. It has often been associated with leftist political movements, including Javanese Nationalism and Socialism. It has a long-standing rivalry with the Lorenvia Quasar, whom are often more associated with the Liberal Peninsula-Nationalism, which has been described by various commentators as "the most intense sporting rivalry in Wizlandia" and "one of the most intense derbies in the world." The South Avax Devils also have a rivalry with the Penton Wanderers, located ninety kilometres north.
The South Avax Devils is one of the richest teams in Wizlandia with the third highest payroll, boasting some of the leagues best players such as striker Marco Ferrara and attacking midfielder Jaroslaw Cubarenka.
