Extraterritorial Holdings

These are areas that are part of other states, yet are under the jurisdiction of the Sovereign Escorial due to extraterritorial recognition of their importance to the Sovereign Escorial. These areas are governed by the Escorial, and not by the countries they are in. There are not visa requirements to enter and leave, as entering the territories / complexes does not mean leaving the country. The Escorial has its own laws for these areas.
