Assasination of ex-president Georges Alma-Walker Jr.

Earlier this morning, ex-president Georges Alma-Walker Jr., mostly known as Georges Walker, was shot by an unknown man.

"It all happened to fast, first I was walking home with my husband and only a few seconds later he gets shot and dies." his wife proclaims.

Georges Walker was a controversial figure, he was an important person in 80s and 90s Ilandian (right wing) politics but was also accused of massive tax evasion. The fact this assasination took place during his trail may suggest it was drugs-related.
Authorities can't yet exclude the possibility of a political motive.

Seven suspects have been arrested so far.
