P O L I C I E S The OIC has not yet established any positions on major issues, not to mention its members taking vastly different stances on foreign policy. The Hashemite Caliphate, for example, is very pro-west and supportive of the US, while Yemen is pro-east and socialist; meanwhile the UAF attempts to maintain neutrality in world affairs. The table below lists the OIC's stances on various issues. |

T R A D E The OIC is, first and foremost, an economic union. As such, much of the Mecca Charter deals with economics. The OIC is a free-trade zone, as well as its currencies having free exchange rates. The economy of the OIC is quite significant, containing much of the world's oil industry as well as the Suez Canal. |
S T R U C T U R E The OIC is composed of four key organs: the General Secretariat, the OIC Council, the OIC Parliament, and the OIC Commission. |
The Secretary-General of the OIC is the de facto head of the OIC and leads the General Secretariat of the OIC. The current Secretary-General is [NAME], a [NATIONALITY] diplomat who has served as Secretary-General since the OIC's formation in 2021.
The OIC Council is a legislative organ of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, presided over by the Chairman of the OIC Council. The incumbent Chairman is [NAME], a [NATIONALITY] diplomat representing [NATION] on the OIC Council who has served as Chairman and OIC Councilman for [NATION] since the formation of the OIC in 2021. Each member state of the OIC has one Councilman appointed by that state's government. A majority vote from the OIC Council is necessary for any and all OIC legislation.
The OIC Parliament is a legislative organ of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, presided over by the Speaker of the OIC Parliament. The incumbent Speaker is [NAME], a [NATIONALITY] diplomat serving as a representative of [NATION] in the OIC Parliament who has served as Speaker of OIC Parliament since the formation of the OIC in 2021. Each member state of the OIC has one MOP (Member of OIC Parliament) for every million people in said member state, democratically elected under a secret ballot. A majority vote from the OIC Parliament is necessary for any and all OIC legislation. The Hashemite Caliphate has 120 MOPs, the UAF 156 MOPs, and Yemen 4 MOPs.
The OIC Commission is a legislative organ of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, presided over by the President of the OIC Commission. The incumbent Speaker is [NAME], a [NATIONALITY] diplomat representing [NATION] in the OIC Commission who has served as President of the OIC Commission and Commissioner for [NATION] since the formation of the OIC in 2021. Each member state of the OIC has one Commissioner, elected by an electoral college consisting of the MOPs and Councilmen for their member state. The OIC Commission has the sole authority to introduce legislation and, together with the General Secretariat, forms the executive branch of the OIC.
