Once you've swallowed it, the nano's replace certain body parts with mechanical variants, be it a new heart, or even artificial DNA. These cybernetics can grant things like increased strength, intelligence, resistance to poison and disease, or even immortality. Cybernetics are an omnipresent phenomenon in Zeloria, as nearly everyone here is a cyborg to such an extend that they could be considered an entirely different species from baseline organics.[/size][/align]
