Constitution (Amendment) (No. 4) Act

By and with the advice and consent of the Crown Prince, the Legislative Assembly of the Principality of Remlasia enacts as follows:

1. In the Constitution Act, insert after Article 2 of that Act: "Citizens of the Principality of Remlasia shall have the right to vote in elections and referendums in the Principality of Remlasia."

2. For numbering purposes, the insertion provided under Article 1 of this Act shall be numbered Article 3 within that Act, and all article numbers after it shall be incremented by one, including any references to them.

3. In the Constitution Act, insert after Article 3 of that Act: "Any person who is not a citizen of the Principality of Remlasia shall not vote in elections or referendums in the Principality of Remlasia."

4. For numbering purposes, the insertion provided under Article 3 of this Act shall be numbered Article 4 within that Act, and all article numbers after it shall be incremented by one, including any references to them.

5. In the Constitution Act, insert after Article 4 of that Act: "Article 3 shall not apply to such citizens who are incarcerated in the Principality of Remlasia, or such citizens who are not tax resident in the Principality of Remlasia, or such citizens who are standing for election in the Principality of Remlasia."

6. For numbering purposes, the insertion provided under Article 5 of this Act shall be numbered Article 5 within that Act, and all article numbers after it shall be incremented by one, including any references to them.

7. This Act may be cited as the Constitution (Amendment) (No. 4) Act.
   

THE LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY humbly requested our gracious sovereign to grant Royal Assent to this Act to which His Majesty graciously accepted without further comment.
