The International Grand Duchy of Sierra Grand, commonly called Sierra Grand is an island nation in the Amalgamated Federation. Sierra Grand is a Parliamentary Duchy, where the states are led by the respective duchy. The Duchy of Sierra Grand which controls all of it is the May Dynasty of the Sovereigns.

Sierra Grand gained independence from the Franco-Deutsche Imperium in the Revolution of 1641-1642. A massive armed rebellion stormed the capitol of Port Elisabeth. Sierra Grand after taking invasion stormed nearby islands for security.

Sierra Grand has a massive economy worth 153 Trillion Freedom World Credits. The multi-cultured nation is known for a variety of festivals such as Oktoberfest in Groß Croate, Ardor Providence and the Fête des Saint in Saint Croata, Bay Providence. It has notable relations with The Imagination Animals

Sierra Grand was originated from Sierra meaning a range of mountains and Grand for large as of the vast amount of cultures. Citizens are referred to as Sierrites or as a bulk Sierrese.

History

Colonisation by Franco-Deutsche Imperium
The Imperium Expedition of 1531 in the Age of Colonisation. The land was previously uninhabited so it made good money for selling crops. The land soon saw a new purpose for growing tobacco as seen in the geographic names.
Independence Movement
After noticing the profit, the Franco-Deutsche over-worked farmers for very little profit. Therefore an Armed Revolution was started for freedom. The capitol previously called "Palace Franco" was stormed. The capitol was named after Empress Elisabeth of Austria, a country the nation looked largely up to.
Modern History
On June 14th, Ardal Leoplold May of the Sierrese Grand Duchy was succeded as Sovereign Sierrite. The Sovereigness is the wife of the Sovereign, Sara May, who is also the Duchess of Port Elisabeth. The Vice-Consul is Johannes Friegs, a good friend of Ardal May. Together the government made a socialist state and improved the economy massively.

Geography
Sierra Grand is incredibly mountainous, with over 40% of cities sitting over 1,000 feet. The climate is also very cold with an average of 11℃. Local Flora thrive in the cold with Arctic Ferns found densely in the nations lush forests. A wide variety of diverse fauna also inhabit the woods and seas.

- White Cockatoos, the National Animal to be found in the forests and some trees.
- Foxes, widely seen in the forests
- Bears to be fairly commonly seen in forests

The Economy of Sierra Grand is entirely Socialist with no private businesses. Individuals may own businesses but at Government Discretion, Control, and Paycheck.
Individuals are payed on their ablities, and CEOs recieve a higher paycheck for promoting better standards.

Sierra Grand has massive works of architecture and infrastructure, which can be seen in immense cities across the Coast and inner country. Road maintenance is often done, as they must also salt roads with the frequent storms.

The Sierrese culture is surrounded by foreign influence making it largely diverse. It is based of off the French and German (Franco-Deutsche Imperium), the Spanish (Colonisation of Santa Ingrid) and Sierra Laureatum (Religion made of Different Cultures).
Sierra Laureatum
Sierra Laureatum is the main religion of Sierra Grand and a branch of Catholicism. The belief is centred on Saint Croata when he came to accompany God on the creation of humans. The belief is entirely on god and some different Saints who also include:
- Saint Ingrid (For making the planet lush)
- Saint Yvette (For creating the planet)
- Saint Richard (For teaching the humans)
Festivals
There are many festivals in Sierra Grand due to the culture. These include:
- Oktoberfest in Groß Croata
- Fête des Saint in Saint Croata
- Festival des los Santos in Santa Ingrid
Village Culture
Sierra Grand also has a large influence by Albanian villages. In these usually mountainous spaces there is a strong sense of community with people doing favors and other things. People refer to elders like grandparents and are very open with one another.
