zombies are gone

A shrill siren suddenly pierced through the afternoon air. It was shining ferociously in Kušuska, pouring mercilessly in Sewyup, drizzling lightly in Anaregrask, awesomely windy in Waetu, and cloudy as dust in R’šoph.
But, when they heard the siren, smiles all appeared on their lips. Screams of joy could be heard everywhere, and shadows of people dancing in their homes could be seen in every street.
The zombies were gone.
Many were focused on celebrating their dear nation coming back to life, while some looked out of their window.
As the siren swept into every citizen’s ears, the zombies that were walking on the street froze. Then, their green skin, a key characteristic of zombiefication, immediately turned into their normal colours as they turned around, many of them puzzled on where they were, their last memory being the infectious bite an aggressive, brain-eating individual had done on them.
The jubilant cheers dissolved into a resounding cry which echoed throughout the entire country: “Death to the zombies! Long live us all!”
For a whole hour, the cheers could be heard, fresh from the mouths of all Qaweans.
However, slowly but surely, it died down. The nation knew they had to get back to work.
