Dimóyne officially becomes the 31st Province of the N.I.F!
Written by Harold Vensburg
After the population became stable, the idea of province-hood was thrown around. Many were skeptical at first since newer policies at the time were against the population's opinion. But as the policies changed, the opinion changed. The poll to be admitted into the alliance was favored by more and more people each year, until in 2447, when the poll reached it's 67% requirement for province-hood. For the next 2 years, the Conclave would be in the process of voting the territory into becoming an ally. The idea of it was highly controversial, as its economy was still developing in random patterns, with a high risk of collapse. It still didn't help that a major part of the population of Dimóyne were still farmers. Even though the odds were against them, The Council of Delegates and The Plenum both favored turning Dimóyne into a province. After a few weeks of inactivity, the Premier of the N.I.F officially signed them into province-hood as the 31st in the alliance. The writing of their constitution is expected to start next month around the 29th. Until then, the population of Dimóyne will surely be celebrating as the times follow.
The area has had problems with looting and high crime rates for nearly 8 years starting in 2443, right as N.I.F forces started scouting the area after the N.I.F claimed it from The Confederate Joint of Kirk, as per The Treaty of Kaspin. But after local governments starting putting out bounties and promise of land, a large group of farmers mass-migrated to the territory to claim free land/money in an attempt to cash in the bounties. This greatly stimulated the failing Moinian economy. After the last of scum were driven out, people started going to the area not to stay in, but to live in.

When the judge of the 2 trials was questioned about the summary of the situation, she replied: "People like Macsen know what they are doing by taking actions like these. He cheated the company out of money they rightfully earned and used it for himself in incredibly malicious ways."
His trial lasted for 7 weeks, and on the 16th, he was found guilty in front of a jury and sentenced to be relocated to a temporary home and placed under house arrest for 12 years. Major weapons manufacturer files for bankruptcy
Written by Yennie Stoltz
Activi Inc. has filed for chapter 7 bankruptcy this Friday after failing to pay back large scale payments. According to court papers made on the 21st, their debts have added to around 75,000,000 O-Nella Rubles. As a result of this, the company and the weapons industry took a hit at the stock market. It is speculated that the cause of their untimely bankruptcy was due to the N.I.F's declining opinion of defense forces and war.
When questioned, the CEO has stated that she is in the process of re-assembling the main council of the company and that stockholders have nothing to be concerned about. Other high ranking members of the council have been pretty skeptical and a little shaky about the whole ordeal, posting their concerns online, while others have resigned.
Stock market experts have said the vicinity of this event will put a very large hole in the weapons industry that is not expected to fully recover in 1-3 decades. There are minuscule signs of recovery, which many believe will push the estimate down to around one decade. A representative for the company (Baxter Murray) has said to just be hopeful for the future of the company.
