a group of ultranationalist rebels and political parties came to gather in a coalition known as the Patriotic Unionist Calition and unified under one leader, Liko Tayvihane. The coalition then cominced campaigns of terrorism and propaganda which worked into the final day when the group marched on the capital and was pushed back on military who were still royal to then president Makani Bokeo. Bokeo was seen as a incompetent ruler who was needed to be replaced. After a breif civil war which is known now to the goverment as the Red Lion Rebellion. After the elimentaion of the most of the loyalist high command the PUC took power and instaled Liko Tayvihane as supream general and "president" of the new Chroai Reatros
