What is the Ministry of Internal Affairs?

The Ministry of Internal Affairs is the main guarantor of the fundamental rights and freedoms of the member states, the defender of public order and public and private property. As one of the most important governmental institutions that contributes to the defense of the rule of law, it has responsibilities both in the field of anti-crime, order, security and regional security, and in providing public services for Romanian citizens, at high standards.

Thus, the Ministry of Internal Affairs elaborates objectives of activity in the field of internal affairs, according to the Government Program and its obligations from the national strategic documents, as well as from the international ones in which Romania is part of, implementing the necessary measures to achieve them.

The department is led by the Minister of Internal Affairs, The Democratic Confederation of Gurdenia in cooperation with the Prime-Minister of Romania, The Republic of Northern Bucovina, who also has control over Ropublica, the official platform via which the Regional Office communicates updates and changes to the member nations. Moreover, it has jurisdiction over the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI), an organization tasked with ensuring the safety of the region.

Our objectives

Given the name of the region, Romania was a source of interest for a suite of tyrants who aimed to subjugate the community. It took a re-foundation so that things could change, and now, more than a year after gaining its independence, Romania wants to move towards a brighter future. The Ministry of Internal Affairs has set itself the goal of achieving a number of objectives so that the region's prosperity and well-functioning can be ensured, while maintaining standards comparable to those in Europe or The South Pacific.

Thus, the adoption of a constitution and a set of laws is a vital priority for Romania in trying to combat issues such as racism, trolls and ethnic discrimination, and also to create an optimal space for recreation and entertainment. Moreover, we want the member states to embrace the idea of joining the World Assembly and endorsing the "co-regionals", thus guaranteeing the security of the region and being actively involved in the development of the community. Also, the Ministry of Internal Affairs wants to present the Romanian culture to the member states, aiming at educating the masses about the hidden beauties of our country.

Last but not least, due to the fact that Romania is based on the principles of democracy, we understand that the power does not belong to us, but to the members of the region, who will elect the next series of representatives. Therefore, the ultimate goal of the Ministry is to ensure that the region will never fall into the hands of a tyrant or a dictator, and that it will not accept in the Regional Office people with radical conceptions and ideologies that promote immoral, nonconforming values that disobey the Constitution of the region.
