A History

The Great Borderstates (TGB)

Founded in mid-late 2018 "The Great Borderstates" was the original region created which housed many of the nations that are now within The Border Commune. The region itself saw many a controversy with one ultimately leading to abandonment and refuge within a new region, this being The Confederacy of Border States, founded in early 2019.

The Confederacy of Border States (TCOBS)

The Confederacy served as the home for many nations for over a year, at its peak it saw 22 nations within its borders. A problem though, evident from the beginning was the founder, the dysfunctionality grew over time. The problem disappeared with the founder becoming non-existent, and behind it created many more problems. A region without a founder will never function as it once did. In early 2020 the confederacy was raided by the evil Black Hawkes, it brought devastation to the already weakened region, the Black Hawke reign lasted not a day before control was seized back.

The Border Commune (TBC)

It was not until April of 2020 that the World Assembly Delegate, Boku no Pica, and the Vice-Delegate, DunderPaper, decided the only way to move forward was to leave the past. The Border Commune was formed on the 12th of April 2020 and will serve as a prosperous region for many years to come. On the 15th of April (at current writing), 3 days after founding the region was raided by the Black Hawks, their reign lasted for less than 10 minutes.

22 May 2022: The Border Commune has stood resilient, yet sheltered, for now over two years. No nations have been recruited, the remaining two nations hamper down for a long, long winter. The legacy of The Great Borderstates and The Confederacy Of Border States will live through The Border Commune, and its survivors. They will not succumb.

1 April 2023: Despite the date, there is no joke. The two nations, battered by apocalypse after apocalypse, remain resilient. The Anarcho-Communist Commune of Boku no Pica remains WA Delegate, and has done so now for over a year. The Border Commune will prevail.

12 April 2024: Today marks The Border Commune's Fourth Anniversary. The region lies dormant. Not dead, not gone. Living still, waiting.

Timeline -

Mid-Late 2018 - The Great Borderstates is founded and does not last for long.

Early 2019 - The Confederacy of Border States is founded in hopes of escaping what had become of TGB. It would last for over a year.

January 2020 - TCOBS was raided by The Black Hawkes, their reign was short-lived and control was seized back.

12th April 2020 - After discussions were held between the high ranking region officials it was decided that a founder-less region was not one that would ever prosper once again. The Border Commune was subsequently founded.

15th April 2020 - 3 days after founding the region was raided by The Black Hawks, their reign lasted for less than 10 minutes.
