Campaign for Reelection

Hello Europe!

This is Outer Sparta, your current 2nd Deputy Commissioner. I have decided to run for reelection. My fellow candidates are Rivierenland, Serbia-macedonia, and Of herbshire. I am running as an independent once more.

Why should you reelect me as commissioner?
1. I have been very active in regional affairs
As a commissioner, it is my duty to keep a lookout on what's happening in our region. You never know when trolls might strike or a sudden shakeup in government occurs. Those were two major issues I had to deal with, and when they happened, I immediately got cracking on the case, asking questions, and figuring out the events that happened. When troll attacks happen in the RMB, I report the trolls to the Cabinet to get their input on the appropriate action to take.When former commissioner Rivierenland unexpectedly resigned and left, I trawled through the RMB and Discord and figured out why he resigned and left and what we can do as a region to move forward. A commissioner should thoroughly understand the events going on in our region and to investigate all the details. I am the best candidate to undergo that task. Even when major events aren't going on, I am active in the RMB and I love chatting about a multitude of topics ranging from NS lore to real-life events. I also love getting to know everyone in their region, which strengthens our regional bonds.

2. I will continue to listen to your needs and interests
A good commissioner is one who listens to the region if they have any concerns or ideas they like to voice. I will empower you all to use your voice if there's any issues you would like addressed or even a poll or regional event you would like me to do. Your input and participation makes our region stronger, and if you reelect me, I will continually let your voice be heard.

As for issues and policy, I am supportive of stricter border control measures even though I'm not willing to support border control privileges for commissioners. I support current policies on border security and control, though I want to streamline the process, particularly in modcom. Another issue for me is electoral reform, especially how we settle ties in commissioner races. I feel the current system of random drawing in tie situations for races with more than two candidates isn't fair. I have advocated for a different voting system in those situations so things don't have to come down to a roll of the dice.

Vote for me for a more equitable, strong, and stable Europe. I hope you take all those considerations into mind and give me another go at commissioner. Thank you.
