Dashers History Textbook Vol. 2

After an insanely long period of inactivity, I have returned at last!

I:Return and Revival
I finally found some free time and remembered about this. The problem was that I was playing this game too much so I lost interest.

As it stands now, New Epinadia has restored some of its former glory after nearly being wiped from the map following the Drentor-Honsikian space scandal.

A majority of some of the elder members are still active. We also have some new members. Hello!

To give some context, I went CTE around April 2019 along with several major nations that either left or died including Nort prestinia.

Around the time I left, New Epinadia was in process of collapse. Our 30ish nation sized region collapsed to 2 in like 3 months. After Drentor left, a series of unfortunate events lead to the near erasure of New Epinadia.

And for a long time, this place was just a hermit kingdom. With the founder, Nort Prestinia and Unrealistia to name a few that stayed. In the span of my absence, we got raided a couple times, but I guess they left because the region was pretty much dead+WA delegate is not executive.

Around October however it seems like the old nations reconglomerated to refound New Epinadia.

And the story continues…

P. S. Honsiki and Unrealistia each have a series of puppets so that kind of inflates regional size

II:Political Unrest
Unrealistia’s people have just revolted (again) and have deposed their president. The military has reinstated the old monarchial government and will likely be overthrown themselves.

Honsiki’s ruler, Nik Kuznetov, has slowly shaped a democracy into a dictatorship and due to Honsiki having amended its constitution and having closed its borders foreign nations may not interfere.

As per New Epinadian regulation other nations may not influence the revolutions unless they formally declare war themselves.

We still, as per New Epinadian regulation, recognize the old government of Unrealistia due to the nature of the revolution being similar to a coup.

What shall happen?

III:Return to Isolation
As I predicted, nothing really happened.

Unrealistia has taken the meaning of everyone is under the law to the literal level, and Honsiki has abolished slaves. The nations continue to quarrel with each other.

On another note, a bunch of nations are going to CTE sometime soon in this region, returning us to silence and isolation.

IV:Not a Whisper
It’s been over 70 days since this has been updated.

The region has gone quiet, with regional assemblies taking place once in a blue moon. Our region’s tag, “isolationist”, truly takes on a new meaning in our region, with each nation occasionally communicating and conducting foreign policy with each other all while somehow staying active within each respective nations’ government.

This is ridiculous.

V:Revolt
With COVID-19 taking the world by storm in reality, people have begun to mimic New Epinadia's tendencies of being antisocial!

And yet, rather ironically, it is now that a new issue should occur.

Although Honsiki's "reformed government" aims to be a little bit more democratic, it is still as ruthless as ever. Drawing parallels to the Syrian War, Honsiki is now in deep political turmoil and is currently experiencing a civil war of previously unseen scale. As it stands now, the civil war seems to have ended with the original government retaining power.

On the other side of the world, Verchoyansk and Klatted unitanglyjan seem to be causing issues for the Northern territories of new epinadia and Russiabasjkirostan. Verchoyansk was soundly defeated by both.

Verchoyansk also betrayed a coalition made within this region to suppress socialism in New Epinadia.

Basjkirostan and the Northern Territories are fighting against Greyastia, Spexinia and Honsiki (the Artagrad Federation). Honsiki is now planting missiles in its weaker neighbors while bolstering its army.

Aftermath: The Northern Territories have officially collapsed now. The widespread usage of WMDs, unfortunately, led to a bunch of no-go zones and mass suffering for all countries (especially the Honsikian civilians). People are being evacuated by the millions in the less futuristic countries, but in places like Dashers, Unrealistia, and Honsiki we simply go into bunkers. Orbital strikers were used by both sides, which were previously used by Drentor. New armata still demands its lands back from Honsiki. Overall, neither side really won-socialism (and Honsiki) was suppressed but at great cost. Oh but at least The rewind got super-rich off the back of selling tons of WMDs. So kind of like the US in World War I, I guess. So maybe they were the true winner? Although they got bombed too so I guess not.
