On Octobre 11th 2019, a fomented coup led by Unitists deposed king [i]Leopoldio VI[i] and put in power a former short-lived monarch for a united monarchy enshrined by [i]Eduardo I[i]. This time however, His Majesty has reinforced his ties with both Military leaders, the Government and perhaps most importantly the people; tightening his grip over power has led him to seize power, willing to hold firmly to it. Mareor's new ruler plans to re-unite the Mareot people with its land and recreate a sense of belonging to its land, a privileged link that has long been put aside by the former king. His rather radical stance on religion and his willingness to promote Christian Orthodoxy comes in after decades of religious secularism, with Mareots unwilling to go back to religious values that caused them once their demise.
