Mission: was developed to fill the need for an aeromedical evacuation (medevac) aircraft. Hospital aircraft.

History: In 2005, During the Foundation War, in Paradisus Islands, the need arose for an ambulance and hospital aircraft for long-range aeromedical evacuation, which could safely transport patients across the Pacific Ocean to the territory of the Panama Coalition. This aircraft must be fully equipped as an air hospital, to be able to give attention to wounded military personnel from mild to cases that required intensive care, and also carry the necessary medical equipment and personnel, on a platform that was stable enough. For this purpose, the order was specifically made for 3 modified Boeing 737-700 aircraft (military designation C-40C Clipper). They were named as Nightingale II because supposedly, the design provided by the USAF, would be used to replace the C-9A Nightingale. The aircrafts were modified and delivered in just one month to the Panamanian Air Force (FAP) in time to make the first aeromedical evacuations of the Coalition Expeditionary Force in Paradisus Islands. Since then they operate in the FAP for aeromedical evacuations, such as hospital aircraft (each has 1 fully equipped operating room); mass transfer of patients in cases of natural disaster or emergency anywhere in the Region.
