Overview of The Technocratic Empire of New Silicon Valley

The Technocratic Empire of New Silicon Valley commonly called New Silicon Valley is a New York Times Democracy in The North Pacific. It is bordered on the north by Applespring and Surrounded by the North Pacific Ocean. NSV covers 15,186,963 square kilometres and has an estimated population of 1 billion. NSV comprises of 25 Subdivisions and 5 Territories.

New Silicon Valley was uninhabited until it was discovered by Sir Nigel Walker in 1562 along with the rest of Pangea. This resulted in the creation of Parmand wookerperland. The great war for independence in 1855 resulted in the sovereignty of multiple nations from Parmand Wookerperland including New newl, Applespring and New silicon valley. NSV fought with New Newl and Applespring in the great invasion of Parmand Wookerperland. Seizing the Flame Territory and The eastern ports. This resulted in the collapse of Parmand Wookerperland. NSV experienced a great time of economic growth until world war 2 due to the arms manufacturing industry. NSV, New Newl and Applespring all sided with the allies in the cold war. Emerging as a middle power.

Etymology

NSV is named after Silicon Valley, California in Earth 4-5B2. This Earth was discovered by physicist Sir Kevin Falcon. The name was chosen due to the citizen's fascination with technology

The standard way to refer to a citizen of New Silicon Valley is as an American.

History

The first known inhabitants were British Catholics who sought refuge from King Henery VIII and the newly formed Church of England. They founded Parmand Wookerperland with their main settlement located near the Google tower today. This quickly gained the attention of both the French and the British crown which started a ten-year-long international conflict that resulted in french withdrawal from all Pangea colonies which by now is called Pogana.

Several years later due to a string of poor taxation decisions, the citizens of Parmand Wookerperland revolted and gained sovereignty over the entirety of Pogana. A few centuries later in 1855 several resistance cells from New Newl, New Silicon valley and Applespring banded together and stormed the palace of the dictator. giving sovereignty to the revolted nations whilst turmoil raged inside the corrupt Parmand Wookerperland government. This gave the newly formed nations an excuse to annex the land that was Parmand Wookerperland.

The Neutrality Act signed in 1896 stopped any nations in Pogana from engaging in wars that do not directly threaten Pogana nations' Soverngty. This meant that nations of Pogana were unaffected from the First World War.

Due to German invasion of Part of New Newl, Nations of Pogana declared war against the German State. This resulted in heavy casualties in Europe due to NSV's Advanced Information Technology that broke the enigma code 3 years before the British.
