The Kingdom of Raiteria

The Kingdom of Raiteria is an absolute monarchy in southern Anea.
The country is landlocked, but it does contain various lakes and a sea which are fisheable.
Raiteria is made up by 11 regions.

Raiteria is a newly formed state. It is highly unstable since all the regions have different needs, and some of them conflict with other region’s needs. The source of the union between all the regions is peaceful, all the regions united for extra security, since there have been always barbarians, pirates and terrorist in the land which Raiteria now occupies.

It is unknown if the Lusi Government will be able to solve all the region’s demands or solve the terrorist issues. It has also to solve the always active, looming famine disaster that could happen if any war starts in Raiteria, since agriculture is impossible, the lakes are too small and far spread to fish to be a main course, hunting is impossible since there are almost no animals in the tundra and livestock takes a long time to grow. Fortunately, grazing is possible.

Etymology
The origin of Raiteria’s name references the fact that all the regions have been continuously raided by barbarians and terrorists.

The standard way to refer to a citizen of Raiteria is as a "Raiterian."

History

As mentioned before, Raiteria was born from the union of city-states in the area because of the continuous raids made by barbarians and terrorists.

Raiteria, at the time it had formed, it had a democratic government, which is still in power, but now, the government has grown increasingly socialist.

There is not much history attributed to Raiteria, since it is a newly formed nation, but history will be soon made.

In September 14th of 2019, the genocidal dictator Anxis Raisli was appointed by the recently elected Communist Party, which had rigged the elections.
After he was appointed, riots, which started in Lusi spread all over the country. The military would soon be called into the riots and this would start hostile fights between the people and the military.
After months of civil war, Anxis surrendered to the overwhelming enemy forces after the occupation of Lusi. He was later killed in the death row at the "Wound Prison".

A relatively stable government was born after the civil war. During this government period, the Miraculia was discovered. Now, Raiteria had a safe food source and no more famines would probably come.
Even if the government was stable, it was short lived, because King Andrias couped the government and formed the "Raiterian Kingdom", which is still ongoing today. This is Raiteria's most stable and productive period.

Geography

Raiteria is a flat, or hilly place depending on the place. It has no forests, and barely has some mountain ranges, all in borders with neighbor countries. Raiteria has got some lakes, and even one being classified as a sea. There is an active volcano in the southwest of Raiteria.
