History of our Region:India
PrefaceIn every region's history,there comes a point when every nation wants to be a part of it,to witness the great revolution.In India,we cherish the values that have led us to our Independence from Foreign Rules.
Our history is a combination of hardwork,persistence,dedication and hope.
Crisis of 2007
It was way back in 2007, January 11, 2007 if our records are correct. The nation of Maulana azad of Catlandatopia had been in the Great Region of India for a while, ever so slowly swapping endorsements. Late in the evening of the 11th, rather, early in the morning of the 12th, friends of Catlandatopia came pouring in from the regions of Corporate Conservative, Ghost in the Flesh, Home of the Fearless, HIVE, DEN, Invaders Army, and FEAR. Some of those still exist to this day, some do not. Maulana Azad quickly acquired 48 Endorsements in one of the largest invasions of a User Created Region since Philippines seven months earlier. The liberation was such a short-lived operation, that the invaders were ousted in under a week and Aryavartha was restored in a matter of days.
The Early Days
India was a free region once, but our Founder died and then we were all united and defending ourselves. One fine day our WA delegate went rogue and banned everybody. We waited our time for that nation to die, but we were thwarted from refounding India by the raider region Dominion. For a long time we stayed in Dominion controlled India, with our current Founder 
Nirupama (Tripunithura) being WA delegate and negotiated hard for our independence from Dominion. They mocked us, insulted us and we were all banned again.
It was then that we met with 10000 Islands and other allies. They understood our position and adviced us on how to regain our region.
By then we were almost two to three years without our home. We bided our time.
Then when the Dominion puppet Founder of India got deleted due to inactivity our allies refounded India under a new Founder - Nirupama - and gave our current Founder control over it. By then he was the only original member of India standing and fighting for India.
And thus India was reborn again under its own flag and its hard won rightful name. Then there were periods of internal strife when a splinter group formed - CoIN.
CoIN - Community of Independent Nations
Community of Independent Nations , they attacked our forums and RMB and got a mole elected as WA Delegate.They tried attacking us several times, at one point even got their agent as our WA Delegate. But thanks to the alertness of some of our most stalvart members we reacted and secured our region.
2012-Beginning of a New India
There were a whole bunch of regions that called themselves “India” and once they figured out that fact, they started calling themselves things like “the REAL India,” “Best India Region,” and stuffs like that.
There was also a period around 2012 where nations and regions were getting raided right, left and centre. Puppets would infiltrate, lock founders and member nations out of their own regions, and other such shenanigans. India instituted a highly vigilant stance and this region became known as not only “safe” from raiders, but active hunters of raiders. We had to do some hardworking once it was decided that India was taking a hardline stance against the practice of regional raiding.
Modern India
Our region still respects the ideology and and values that led to the Independence of India,we praise the hardwork of our senior members who fought for the region called India.
India is not only a region,but a story of more than 100 nations,who stand against the evils of NationStates and believe in Sovereignty of region and the practice of defending against raider groups.
We believe in a better tommorow,we believe tommorow we can be much better than today we are.
