"I want to see us once again have a nation, that's as good, and honest and decent and truthful, and competent, and compassionate, and is full of love,
as all the peanut farmers."
- President of Peanutlands Jimmy Carter

James Earl Carter Jr. (born 1 October) is a Peanut farmer, Peanutthropist, and the current President of Peanutlands. He served as Mayor of Plains, and later Senator of the county. He won a Nobel Peanut Prize in his effort to promote Peanut farming all over the world.

Carter was born and raised in the small town of Plains, where his wife, Rosalyn, was also born. Carter studied and graduated at the Peanut Institution, achieving a Bachelor of Peanuts degree. He joined the Peanut Farmers' Association, where he served on a Peanut Farm. He inherited a bigger plantation after his fathers death, where he continued to grow the family peanut business. During this time, Carter joined the Peanut Party, which had recently defeated the Almond government. Carter ran a successful campaign to be elected Mayor to Plains, and later successfully became it's Senator. He would soon mount a campaign to run for President of Peanutlands, despite being seen as a dark-horse candidate. Carter would be nominated at the Peanut Party's National Convention as candidate for President, eventually defeating Almond Party Incumbent Gerald Ford to be President of Peanutlands.

Early Life

Jimmy Carter was born in a Peanut farm in Plains, Sumter, to two peanut farmers. The town of Plains was a booming industry for its local peanuts. 40% of the towns GDP consisted primarily from Peanuts. Making it one of the top 10 places in Peanutlands for Peanut sales.

Carter grew up working at his parents family store, helping to sell the harvest. However, it was quite a tough time for him and his parents, because just across the street from his family store was 'Al's Almonds,' run by Al Gore Sr. This type of competition hurt the Carters financially. Jimmy would be forced to work over time on the farm, spending many excruciating hours per day to help keep the store going. Carter would learn from his early days that he dislikes Almonds.
