History of Gor Kebab

17 May 2015 - The day Gor Kebab was founded. The nation plotted itself inside Osiris. During this time the nation was ruled democratically with common elections.

10 August 2017 - John Askey took power with a landslide victory in the elections. He declared a state of emergency and disposed of any political rivals before declaring himself as the leader of Gor Kebab. Gor Kebab would become an authoritarian nation in the heart of Osiris.

14 August 2017 - Due to political tensions between Gor Kebab and Osiris, John Askey would start the war for Gor Kebab’s independence from Osiris control.

28 August 2018 - The war was won and independence was guaranteed. On this day, John Askey would announce his alliegence to Europe. A region in which it proudly sits in today.

23 September 2018 - N-day began. Gor Kebab was quick to help defend its neighbours and helped in the attacks against other regions. During this war Gor Kebab would receive many medals for its heroic actions. The war was won.

31st October 2018 - Gor Kebab would find itself in the middle of the international crisis known as Z-day. Gor Kebab, again, jumped to the defence of her neighbours under the command of John Askey.

12 November 2018 - At approximately 15:28, the Military marched through the streets of Kebab City and declared a coup. The reasons behind this coup d’etat are still unknown. Rumours say it was due to government cuts in military spending. Fighting occurred at the Goverment Building in the heart of the city between the military and the loyalists still supporting John Askey.

13 November 2018 - The Joint Military Command (JMC) takes control of Gor Kebab with the motto “change is on the way”. Following the speech of main military leaders, a new flag was seen flying on The Parliament and other Government buildings. This would become the new flag. A state of emergency was also declared as the JMC was to hold elections for the new leader.

14 November 2018 - Democracy is reinstalled in Gor Kebab. Danny Coyne was elected as Prime Minister of Gor Kebab. He is a strong worded man that thought Democratic Values must be protected. The JMC left the Government building and Parliament replacing their flag with a new one for the democratic nation. Elections will now take place every 3 years. The State of Emergency would be removed. Danny Coyne’s first action was to enforce Freedom of Religion. Christianity would no longer be the state religion. In fact, there would be none.

In October of 2019 relations between Gor Kebab and Jim the Baptist turned hostile after allegations of harassment and bullying while the nation remained neutral in all affairs. Sam Ricketts released public announcements which gained the support of Gor Kebab’s many allies in the region. Relations soured further when suspected puppet of Jim the Baptist, Unpopular people threatened to take such accusations of fraud to the international community.

Gor Kebab’s allies stand with Gor Kebab and Sam Ricketts is grateful for such support by its allies and others in the region.

Gor Kebab, following false accusations and diplomatic insults, has declared war on Jim the Baptist and its puppets.
