Salizaneous: The History (Lore to Salizaneous and the 5 Nations)

Salizaneous, home to more than 250,000 Salizaneousians or Salizan for short. Salizaneous is a small, temperate country with an almost equal size to that of Luxembourg. Despite being small, Salizaneous has a strong economy, well funded education system, powerful military, fertile farmlands, and many tourist attractions. In Salizaneous, there is a few regions holding both big cities and towns to visit, each with their own leaders and laws. The largest region and city which also holds the capital city is Ublinton, holding about 150000 Ublintonians in the region alone. Approx. 10 thousand living in Oslavio City, the capital, in the center of Ublinton. Other regions around the country consist of Crambrant(Pop. Approx. 15000 ), Tylise(pop. Approx. 23000), and Oberdan(pop. Approx. 59300). One country that Salizaneous owns is Rech Iuo Son(R.I.S.), which holds the great Black Citadel City.

Ublinton, the most popular of the regions and the 2nd largest region is a sophisticated, cultural, and economically hardened state. Ruled by the Great Leader Vlad Oslavio, Ublinton is a very patriotic, fair but firm county, most notably religion being outlawed to an extent, parental licenses, and public executions. Another notable fact about Ublinton is that it is a diarchy ruled region. Ruled mainly by the Great Leader of Salizaneous and Leader of Ublinton, Vlad Oslavio, Garnet (Garni) Reed is Vice Leader to Ublinton, former leader to Rech Iuo Son. Oslavio City is the heart of Ublinton, named after the Oslavian family specifically Francis Oslavio, father to Vlad Oslavio. All laws and regulations are made here for both Ublinton and the entirety of Salizaneous.

Crambrant, the easternmost region to Salizaneous and is the smallest of the regions. Most known for its fertile farmlands and harsh military camps, one camp in each of the climates. With its mountains in the south and desert in the north, valleys and forests in the middle, and jungles to the east. Out west is the plains between Ublinton and Crambrant. The Leader of Crambrant is Victor Pensai. Victor was a childhood friend to Francis Oslavio before he died, now acting as the secretary of defense of Salizaneous, training most of the countries soldiers, he shares experience and knowledge to The Great Leader Vlad. The capital city is Fort Branto, a combination of politics and law making and training grounds for the military. The large majority of new recruits usually come here for bootcamp otherwise the most elite soldiers train in the Advanced Facility, the largest facility in all of Crambrant specifically used for the most realistic and hardcore training. Tylise, the northernmost region to Salizaneous and the biggest of the regions. It’s known for its rich resources and variety of gemstones most commonly found, especially the Tylisen Christmas, a octahedron gem with the mixed colors of green and red and the Tylisen Patriot, a crystal bearing the colors of the Tylise flag(Brown and Gold). The climate is cold with 90% of the land covered in snow, with a chance to snow 60% everyday, along with its mountainside far north of the region creating a natural border between Salizaneous and Bonterani. The Leader of Tylise and CEO of Tylisen Mining is Dayelli Obiano (Mother Obiano). A independent, hard working woman with experience in both the mines and in the office. A fast friend to both Francis and Vlad Oslavio before the Black Hawk War. Now only an advisor to Vlad, only keeping contact if there’s an emergency or any other political matter. The capital city is Stenen Staden or Stone City. All the smaller and bigger industries have headquarters here for the mines. The tallest of the HQ’s is the Tylisen Mining building or the Ty-Mine tower is what the locals call it. The Tylisen Mining owns most of the smaller companies so they can expand across all of Tylise. The most profitable mine TyM own is Dantario gold mine.

Aberdan, the westernmost country of Salizaneous is probably the smallest of regions mostly cause 40% of the region is lakes or oceans. Widely known for its massive fishing industry, Aberdan’s economy is just as strong as Tylise’s because of how much fish live in the oceans and lakes in the region. Besides fishing, Oceanography is also a common career. The University of Aberdan-Anteract, located in the capital city of Anteract, generally consist of majors associated to the oceans or water. The climate itself is usually wet, cold, and rainy. It rains just as much here than it snows in Tylise. The Leader of Aberdan is George Berrian. Before taking office as Leader, George was a master fisherman, breaking a large variety of records and catching the legend, “Jaegger”, an albino Rougheye rockfish. It hangs up in his office for everyone to see when they walk in. The relationship between Vlad and George is great due to the fact that they are both the youngest leaders of their regions. The capital city of Aberdan is Anteract, with both the University of Aberdan-Anteract (UAA) and the great Poliverade Lake as the main tourist attractions.

The last region is Rech iuo son (R.I.S.), the southern region to Salizaneous. Back before the Black Hawk War, Ublinton sent troops down to R.I.S. to support it in its current state of civil war and anarchy. Ublinton, along with Salizaneous now own Rech Iuo Son where it now currently has its own laws along with assimilated laws from Ublinton. The climate is hot and arid, most of the region is desert and the average temperature is usually around the 90s. It rains about once or twice a month otherwise there isn’t very much weather other than clear skies. The Leader of this region is Garnet (Garni) Reed. She is also the Vice Leader to Salizaneous as she used to run the country of R.I.S on her own. The capital is Black Citadel City, and underground city naturally formed from the rock and sturdy enough to hold a natural ceiling over the city. There’s a few holes on the ceiling letting in sunlight so the city isn’t completely dark. Rech Iuo Son has a military almost as strong as Ublinton’s and with Crambrant’s famed military training, R.I.S. soldiers are able to train in other climates other than R.I.S’s arid, heated climate. After the recent civil war, R.I.S. struggles to bring the economy back up with its limited industries and companies. Only money from high taxes and tourism barely gives R.I.S enough money to sustain itself. The three major tourist attractions which made up the name of the country are the Great Rechioun Canyon (Rech), the Iuoanis Monument (Iuo) , and the landmark for the Battle of the Fabled Son (Son).
