Sinclarian Flag Symbolism

Hammer and sickle- Represents the union of agriculture and industry to build a better and more equal society.

Olive branches- The olive branches represent the thriving agriculture that made up a bulk of the early nation's economy. Farming has played a large role in the country's history as they were often community owned and operated. It served as the source of food as well as income for many Sinclarian families. Olives were and still are a common site on the rolling hills of the Sinclarian countryside. A proud part of the culture of her people.

Golden Eagle- Aside from being the national animal of Sinclaria, the golden eagle is a symbol in and of itself. It has come to represent opportunity, natural beauty and the strength of the people's will. It is a sacred creature revered since before the nation's founding by the ancients.

Red- The deep red used in the midsection of the flag is for the intense passion of the Sinclarian people. It is associated with strong feelings of patriotism and national pride.

Black- The dark black represents the struggles experienced through the nation's history. The Heinlich Civil War, Brailistan Conflicts and the Great Economic Panic are supposedly represented. These events both devastated and shaped the nation and it's people.

White- The bright white stands for hope born from adversity. It stands out defiantly from the black like a candle burning in the dead of night like the hope for tomorrow inside us all. Though we suffer, what keeps us going is the belief that it can't last forever. It pushes us to keep moving forward towards the light of a new day.
