The Random Nation of The New United Socialist Random Empire, also known as the Socialist Random Empire, The Random Empire, The Empire, Randomia, or simply Random; is a massive, safe, environmentally stunning, efficient, Interstellar, Socialist Regime. Renowned for its keen interest in outer space, sprawling nuclear power plants, ubiquitous missile silos, parental licensing program, frequent executions, devotion to social welfare, gun ownership ban, infamous sell-swords, soft-spoken computers, digital currency, irreverence toward religion, museums and concert halls, and punitive income tax rates. 4.125 trillion cynical, hard nosed New Randomians are ruled by an apparently great and knowing leader, Vladimir Random. Though being under a dictatorship, civil rights is relatively high, thanks to the de-brutalizing campaign.

Located in the center of the Delta Arm of in Ares galaxy, the Random Empire is surrounded on all sides by other friendly nations. It is the southeast in the galaxy, and in the middle between the center and edge of the galaxy. The Empire has hyperlane connections in the northeast and southwest, however, all are blocked by other nations; there are no inter-arm hyperlanes currently possessed by the NUSRE. In the north is Cevlaia, which has no lane connections with the Random Empire. To the Northeast is the nation of Mr. Crabs needs his money, it shares no lane connections with Random. In the southwest is the nation of Beatitas, which shares a single connection with the NUSRE. To the south and the east of the Empire, the nation of Voopmont surrounds the Random Empire, it shares two connections with the Empire. Other relatively close nations are Vooperia, the Furry Commune, Yeetgod, and Imperium, located west of the Empire; Velnoistopia and New Vooperis located northeast of the Empire. The nearest black hole to the Empire is Kraken abyss, however, the closest one with lane connection is Indra’s abyss (Voopmont). The Empire is in the region know as Titanicus.

There are 15 Star systems in the NUSRE, 10 of them are fully colonized and five are resource systems. Elections are allowed on the Planetary and lower levels. But the highest authority in the NUSRE is the Supreme Director , and its Grand Council. The Grand Council is a group of wise leaders appointed by the Supreme Director, they aid the Supreme Director in making the best decisions.

It has a GDP of nearly 150 quadrillion (1,000,000,000,000) Randoms, and is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. The industrial sector is quite specialized and diverse, is led by the Information Technology industry, with major contributions from Arms Manufacturing, Trout Farming, and Beef-Based Agriculture. The money in the Empire is distributed extremely evenly, with the richest 10% earning only 40% more than the poorest 10%. Average income is 205,400 Randoms. Maternity leaves are granted to Mothers and Fathers.

Their moralistic, socially-minded, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Defense, Education, and Law & Order, and expends 101 Quadrillion Randoms. To pay for these expenses, the government taxes citizens 98.1% of their income, and even more for the wealthy. The Empire is founder of MAD (Mutual Attack and Defense Alliance), a part of the ABLS (Alliance for Better Living Standards), and is a member of the Titanicus pact. It is also a member and delegate of the GA (galactic assembly).

Power is produced mostly by fusion power plants and solar arrays. The New Randomians want to be friendly to the environment to preserve its natural beauty. The largest single power production plant is the Procyon Dyson Swarm, a massive project that has been completed. It produces a ludicrous amount of power, but is still the outshined by the 1.73 quntillion gigawatts the Random Empire consumes each year. There are three Dyson Swarms in the Empire, the Procyon, Betelgeuse, and Randopolis Swarms. There are also dyson rings around Vogel, Epsilon Eridani, New Random, and Random.

Technologically, the Empire is third lagging behind Voopmont, this place is being contested however by many other nations. It scores a 208 on Voopmont’s updated scientific benchmark list, and is a 6.72 (Interstellar) on its own technological scale. The Empire is a type 2 civilization on Kardachev’s scale as it can harness the energy of an entire star. It posses FTL travel, terraforming tech, dyson sphere tech, advance artificial fully sentient A.I, nanobots, advanced genetic and matter manipulation, fusion and anti-matter, quantum computers, total weather control, plasma thrusters, and is capable of making large space structures over 100 kilometers long, and turning planets uninhabitable.

Military wise, the Empire is one of the top 4 largest militaries in the entire galaxy, has the best military defensive wise, and is competing for most advanced tech military wise. The Random Military is tailored to defense, and is . Around 15 billion people are apart of the Random military, and has around 30% of the Random budget (90 trillion Randoms). It is broken up into Offensive Command (Army, Naval Fleets, Airforce, Space Force, and Space Fleets), and Defensive Command (Empire Guards, ODP network, fortresses, local militia, and Auxiliary forces). The Empire has the best, most robust defensive network in the galaxy, with thousands of ODP’s, fortresses, and millions anti-ground/air/space weapons. The Planet Buster (PB), Bulkers, and Titans are being constructed by the Empire. Titanium Graphene (G-T) and Electromagnetic projectile weapons (Coilguns, Railguns, etc...) are the armour and weapons used primarily by the Empire.

Crime in the NUSRE, especially youth-related, is totally unknown, thanks to a well-funded, powerful police force; and progressive social policies in education and welfare, along with indoctrination. It has the lowest crime rate in the galaxy.

Symbolism and Etymology

The New United Socialist Random Empire was created after the Socialist Random Empire, and the New Socialist Random Empire. United was added to avoid confusion between us and the NSRE.
(I actually had nation called The new socialist random empire , but I didn't really like that nation, so I made this one. But since I couldn't use the same name, I added "United".)

Random was put in their after our great founder, Charles de Random, and our homeworld, Random. It was even used before the SRE, in the Socialist Random Association.

Socialist describes our economic system, ☭Socialism☭. And I added Empire because, Empire.

The Hammer and Sickle ☭ represent Socialism, it also represents Agriculture and Manufacturing/Production. The Red Star Represents the NUSRE Socialist Party. Finally, the Red and Yellow Stripes symbolizes Socialism spreading across the universe.

History

Pre-Charles Era

Around 11,000 years ago Native Americans came down from the south, and settled in the Baja Californian Peninsula. There were many different peoples and tribes in the area. Those people mainly got their food by fishing, or farming near the Colorado River. Mexico and the northeastern United States also had Indians in the area. By 2100 B.C.E, crops such as corn, and beans were domesticated, and used for farming. This created a food surplus which allowed the Natives to settle into small primitive villages. In the mid 1400's climate changes made this area more dry and desert like, which decreased the overall population in the area

Northwestern Mexico/Southwestern US was explored by Spanish explorers by the 1530's. In 1539, the Spanish explorer Francisco de Ulloa sailed around Baja California. The Spanish did not really have influence here until the 1610's, when missionaries came to this area. Then they went west to southern Arizona and Sonora. The resources in the area attracted more Spaniards here. In the early to mid 1600's colonization increased dramatically because mineral deposits were discovered here. Mines moved the natives of their land, and so they rebelled against them. Baja California was split in two in 1804.

In 1821, Mexico gained its independence from Spain. Conservatives and Liberals soon fought each other. Mexico lost territory through the Texan revolution, and later the Mexican-American war and Gadsden Purchase. This made the two factions even more angry with each other, until a full blown civil war broke out in 1857. European intervention created the Second Mexican Empire. Eventually democracy was restored with Porfirio Díaz. The Reform War, and the return to democracy had devastated Mexico, poverty was widespread. President Díaz tried to repair the country, but he was unsuccessful. To add to this, big considerations were barely paying their workers, and keeping their profits to a few select people. A large part of the world, specifically the western world were controlled by greedy companies. This angered many citizens. Radicals from both ends of the political spectrum wanted to rebel against the government in Mexico, and even Mexicans in the Northeastern U.S.

In the U.S. rebels were beginning to be arrested. So rebels from all over the country fled to Northern California, Northern, and Eastern Arizona. These places were not very pro-government, since they were annexed by from Mexico by the U.S. The rebels made that even worst. Soon, insurrectionist groups started to form, and attack the U.S.

Karl Marx, wrote the Communist Manifesto, and created Socialism. He believed the world was on the cusp revolution due to the ever increasing divide to the rich working class, and the poor working class. Rebel groups in Mexico and the U.S started to adopt this idea, and with that, came more poor rebels who wanted to destroy the rich elite. This idea also inspired a young French-Spanish Man to create a Socialist State. He would create the first Socialist Nation. The Socialist Random Empire.

SRA to SRE

In 1879 Toraunt Word made a Socialist group with a few of his colleges. He named it after himself, the Toraunt W.Group; he also disguised it as a writing group to avoid detection from the U.S government. Later, in 1888, Charles Random mistaking it for an actual writing group, joined the rebels, making him the 565th person to join the group. The group reignited Charles love of Socialism. On the 18th of March, 1889, Toraunt died, and Charles became the new leader of the group. He changed the groups's name to the Socialist Random Association (SRA); he also changed it's flag to the current one used by the NUSRE. In December in 1889 the team was discovered trying to assassinate Benjamin Harrison. The group fled to Mexico, but most didn't make it across the border. Only around 50 made it to Ensenada.

Charles made his first decree upon reaching Ensenada. He ordered his members to invite their families to join the group. Then the SRA started to advertise itself to the local area. Rebels started to join the group in waves. By March of 1890, the group had grown to 1500. The SRA then bought weapons from rifles to explosives. He then armed his members, and ordered a small group of people to raid government property, and large private industries. In May, the SRA started to take in other groups. These groups gave the SRA influence across most of the Northern Baja Californian peninsula. In October of that year, the SRA population had grown to 5000. It also absorbed a group called “Comunisomo Baja California”. This made the SRA's influence grow South.

In February, the Socialist Random Association admitted the California Communist Rebellion. Which made the SRA's influence grow back to the U.R. But since the SRA had no influence in North of Ensenada, they decided to try to admit a small local rebellion in the town of Summer Ridge. They did not comply, so Charles organized a few groups of raiders to seize the town. The raiders did get the town, and had won the first major skirmish in the SRA's history. Seizing the town also gave the the association a factory. This event made the SRA stop buying and seizing weapons; which allowed more money and people to go do other assignments.

On May, 1891, Charles ordered all of his people to attack. This started the Random War of Independence, and created the Socialist Random Empire. In the 1st of June, he called his partners to discuss creating a nation. They all agreed. A month later, on August 24, the Random Declaration of Independence had been completed, and Charles Random had to declared to the world that the Socialist Random Empire was leaving Mexico, and the U.S.A.

Birth

The Birth time period is a part of Randomian History between 1891-1933. It was the first period in the NUSRE's history, and pre dates the NUSRE itself. Charles Random led this era. The RWI, The establishment of the SRE, 1st Border Wars, WWI, the Great Depression, and the Death of Charles Random took place in this time period.

The Random War of Independence

Charles De Random made a decision that created The Socialist Random Empire. He ordered his People to attack. This started the Random War for Independence. A long brutal conflict that created the SRE

Early Battles

On May 10, 1891, the Random War of Independence started. This war would create the Socialist Random Empire. The first battles were small, and were mostly SRA wins. A small town North of the rebellions capital, Ensenada, was from the SRA. After a few unsuccessful attempts, the SRA took the town back by July. After this, there were very few skirmishes between the SRA, the U.R and Mexico. In this time, the rebels started to train themselves. A deserted Mexican officer gave rebels across Baja California a military grade training, he taught tactics, how to reload a rifle, how to aim properly, and organization. One rebel band that was trained was Captain Vrax's Militia.

Vrax's Militia left a peninsula in middle Baja California on June 7. They stared to go north, and unify the eastern coast of the SRE. They also tried to connect to the south, but the faced Mexican opposition. On August 24 they connected with La Pas, and together with the northern Rebels, started to unite Baja California Sur. In the end of August, they, with the help of Ensenadan forces, connected the two Baja Californias. After the battle, Vrax was promoted to Captain, and his Militia became the revered 10th division.

Mexico Strikes Back

Then on August 24, Charles Random declared that the Socialist Random Empire had formed. Soon the SRE began to assemble divisions of 1500 soldiers. The Mexicans alerted by the declaration, sent in troops from Sonora to deal with the SRE. In order to preserve the structure of the SRE, General Isa of the SRE Military ordered the rebels to retreat to Ensenada, San Diego, La Pas, or Los Angles, and then connect from the areas from there. This General also contributed to the formation of the Grand Council on August 27. The first push started on the same day, soldiers in San Diego started to connect rebel pockets around the city. Then Maneadero was connected to Ensenada on September 4, freeing 500 rebels. Next the Grand Council wanted to form the 1st Army from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd divisions. To celebrate this formation, a celebration was planned out on St. Juan Bridge. Little did the Grand Council know that the Mexican reinforcements were also going to the bridge.

The Battle of San Juan Bridge was the SRE's first major defeat, and saw thousands dead on both sides. While the Mexicans won this battle, it delayed their march to Ensenada. However, this defeat did not stop the SRE. Regional General Morando ordered the 4th division to move south, and to take Tijuana with the 7th. On September 15, California and the SRE was connected, and soon, telegrams was being constructed between the cities, and the rest of the Empire. And Baja California was finally united by the 8th, 10th, and 11th. Support for the SRE skyrocketed, with 9 factories and thousands of volunteers. And the Socialism was finally put in effect in SRE territory. In November of that year, hostilities began to die down, as winter approached. In the midst of this relative calm, Operation Thunder Storm was thought up. It was an offensive designed to end the RWI quickly, and gain as much territory as possible.

Winter was incredibly cold, with temperatures of -20°C in some areas. The SRE decided to pull its troops to the warmer north to provide a defensive measure against the Mexicans. The Mexicans did the same, but they pulled back a little bit to get to developed supply lines. The Mexicans were also planning to do an offensive, they wanted to stop the SRE before things got out of hand. On January 21, the Mexicans started their offensive, surprising many in the empire. In 2 days, they had obliterated the SRE's defenses and marched over 15 miles. They had reached one of the last fortifications on January 23. Puerto Penasco

Mexico attacked what would become Puerto Penasco on the 23rd of January. The defenders prepared for an attack the night before knowing the enemy would reach the. The first waves of Mexican soldiers were able to overrun the defenses, and the rebels retreated. They stopped at an outpost an tried to get reinforcements, but the Mexican forces had caught up to them. They started to attack the SRE rebels, they tried to flee, but the Mexicans pursued them. Just when all hope was lost, the reinforcements arrived. Some cavalry swooped in, and the presuers backed down. The rebels were able to flee with hundreds dead, and a demoralized country. This was further confounded by what would come next.

America did not particularly care about California, it had little resources, and little potential because of all the Socialist insurrection. So when a task force of American National Guard came to San Diego on January 24, they though they were going to meet another band of disorganized rebels. What they were about to face the 4th division. The 4th had been building fortifications for a garrison divisions that was supposed to arrive the next day, they had built Fort Diego, a small, but formidable stone fortress. It would be critical in the coming battle. On the Morning of January 24 Americans began to open fire on Random soldiers for the first time. Randomians were dropping in the middle of streets, the soldiers that realized what was going on, tried to organize a defense; but they were easily overran, and they fled to the fort. Meanwhile in the fort, the General of the 4th was clueless to what was happening outside, and had just got news about Puerto Penasco, when he was about to announce the news, when his advisers told him about the situation outside. He opened the doors to the fort to let as much people in before the Americans came. In the fort civilians were armed with rifles, and machine guns were placed in key locations. When the doors broke, dozens of guardsmen fell as machine guns tore them to pieces. Fighting to place for 17 hours. In that time, thousands died on both sides. The American Force left after they realize that the SRE would not submit to them. The next day, the garrison arrived, and started to repair the 4th and Ft.Diego, it would take months for both to be fully operational.

The SRE really needed to boost morale, so they started a propaganda campaign. Morale increased, and soon, it will increase further with the conclusion of the only naval battle. The Mexican government really wanted to end the SRE, so they decided to navaly invade the SRE and move to Ensenada to kill Charles, and end the Empire. They sent 1500 men, a frigate and 2 gunships. Against them was a stolen American cruiser, corvette, and 2 gunboats. The battle saw the end of the Mexican transport fleet, and 1 Random cruiser and corvette.

The Tide Turns

The Mexican advance kept on moving, but in March, the offensive began to slow. In June, the advance completely stopped. More men was pulled from around the empire, and moved to the Western Front. Operation Thunder Storm was finally finished, this is what the plan was: 1.Build up a large line of defenses to prevent Mexico from advancing further 2.Launch a massive amount of rockets at Mexican Troops and Defenses to weaken them 3.Attack the Mexicans with supporting Artillery to discombobulate the Mexicans 4.Push Front Line Defenses up to the new border 5.Repeat. Factories had been producing equipment for the Operation since November. And on June 5th. Operation Thunder Storm began.

Early in the Morning, on June 5th, thousands of rockets shot across the border. And 1500 soldiers died, more died when some Mexicans tried to counter-attack against the formidable Random defensive. Then artillery poured down on what ever was left of the Mexican forces, as thousands of rebels rushed across the border. By the time the defenses were pulled up, the border had moved 120km West. The operation was repeated 3 more times. A 4th one was scheduled, but was stopped because of insufficient resources, and the decreasing effectiveness of the attacks. By the end of the Operation, the border laid over 200km from West of the Colorado River. The end of the war was nearing. In late August, the Randomians had reached Nogales. They had encircled the city, but Mexican reinforcements almost immediately broke the siege. The rebels then encircled the city again. But they couldn’t charge in the city, because it was heavily defended. So the first Randomians faked a charge toward the city to lure the task force out of the defenses city, and annihilated the force. The city was sieged for almost a year, before it surrendered to the SRE. Hundreds died in the city due to starvation.

Isla Tiburon was captured by the SRE on September 14. This island would become the staging ground for an invasion of Mexico. After the Task Force around Nogales surrounded, Charles himself ordered his generals to move north. This was because the SRE had two lines of territory surrounding the west of the Gulf of California, and the Mexican Arizonan border. These strips could be cut off. He also wanted to encircle the Mexican 2nd Army in the area. On September 21, the SRE invaded the Mexican mainland. Two different forces landed, and grouped up, destroying a small force and town. Calvary reinforcements stopped the SRE at a lake, until September 25, when Random reinforcements pushed through the Mexican force. The Mexicans were pushed back to Hermosillo. On October 1st, the Mexican force set up defenses in the city. On October 7th, the southern force arrived, and bombarded the city with artillery and cannons. Next, eastern infantry attacked, then cavalry from the north assisted the invasion. The entire city was taken over by October 11th, and the 2nd Army was encircled.

Back at home, morale was high. The SRE had just won the battle of Hermosillo, Nogales was starting to lose hope, and Operation Thunder( )Storm was a large success. Charles decided that Random needed a national animal that all Randomians can sympathize with. He chose the platypus, due to its strange biology, and being a personal favorite of Charles. The first ship actually produced by the Empire, Omega, was made on November 4, thousands of people came to show up at Omega's maiden voyage. Omega was pretty small, around 200 meters from bow to stern. During its life time, it escorted transport ships and battleships, and was a part of the Random 1st fleet. It would serve in many battles and campaigns until 1943, when it was sunk by the Japaneses. The 2nd Mexican Army also surrendered on November 4th, making 8,700 Mexican soldiers prisoners of war. These events bolstered the already large Random morale, and as a result, increased productivity in factories and battles.

The End of the War

Winter had come and gone, and the Randomians continued their offensive. The invasion force and southern force had fused into one force, they started to move north. The Randomians move incredibly quickly and brutally thanks to their high morale, and a much more organized and equipped army. Guaymas was one of the few defenses in the Random army’s way. The city had become a fort, with 3,600 Mexican soldiers, and many walls and barbed wires. The Empire, during the winter, had produced hundreds of artillery pieces and thousands of shells. On March 7-11, the SRE moved down 40 km towards the city. By March 12, the bombardment had begun. Random artillery blasted the city over the course of a few days. The outer defenses had been completely destroyed, and the fortified city had begun to crumble. When the 10,000 infantry and cavalry arrived on March 18, the defenders immediately surrendered.

The Random advance had scared the Mexican people in the area, hundreds of telegrams and letters flooded into Mexico City, requesting aid and reporting on their fears about the Randomians. The Guaymas Municipality had little Mexican Forces. This was due to the idea the Guaymas will hold the Randomians much longer than it actually did. The Random Army managed to move 270 kilometers in a month, making this the fastest land advance in Random history. They had help however, rebels in Sonora helped subdue Mexican forces, so the Random Army basically walked unopposed through Sonora. On April 22, The SRE had entered Sinaloa; and on April 27, the battle of Los Mochis began. A few Mexican divisions totaling up to 13,000 soldiers came from Mexico City as a response from the Random advance into Guaymas. They arrived to Guaymas on April 25. Meanwhile, the 10,000 Randomians and their artillery moved north toward Los Mochis to take over the city. The stage had been set for one of the greatest Random victories of the RWI.

Mexican scouts saw the approaching Random Army in the south. The leader of the Mexican army, General Incanus, thought that the army should fight the Randomians first, surprising them and stopping them. On April 27, 9,000 soldiers from Mexico left to attack the Random Army, whole 4,000 stayed in the city as garrison, and to build up defenses. The Mexicans rushed the SRE’s soldiers, surprising them. But the Mexicans made a crucial mistake, they rushed in without calvary. The infantry moved much slower than the horses, and the Random army had their artillery. Spotting the Mexicans over 3 kilometers away after they crossed a river, the Random artillery poured down on the Army. Shell after shell struck the Army. By the time they have reached the hill the Randomians were on, over 6000 had been killed or injured. The Mexican Army had scattered. When the Random army reached the city, they repeated what they did in Guaymas. Artillery bombarded the defenses and killed many defenders. Cavalry rushed into the city, followed by infantry. On April 30th, Los Mochis had fallen. 3,800 Mexican soldiers died, 9,200 were injured or prisoners of war. The Randomians suffered 800 deaths, and a thousand injuries. General Incanus was sacked for his incompancy, and Regional General Moroando of the Randomians had been promoted to General.

Mexico started to realize that the SRE wasn’t a small rebellion that could be put down. The SRE had become a large force to be reckoned with. After the battle of Los Mochis, Mexico knew that fighting any longer was a pointless. The SRE was too strong, they were pushing quickly into Mexico, and support for the Empire was incredibly high. The Empire would not stop until Mexico would’ve recognized their independence. War support in Mexico was plummeting, and Mexican people and infrastructure would’be been destroyed by the Randomians. The decision was made to end the RWI, so that the Mexican people wouldn’t have to suffer any longer, and Mexico wouldn’t have been taken over by Random. On June 26, 1893, Mexico surrendered to the Socialist Random Empire. People across the Empire celebrated this news. On the 8th of July, the Treaty of Ensenada was signed, and all hostilities between the SRE and Mexico had ended. In the treaty, the SRE had been given Baja California, a small part of Sonora all the way to Puerto Penasco, and all the Mexican islands in the Pacific and Gulf of California. Mexicans that wanted to move to the SRE had the choice to move there without Mexican permission until 1895. Mexico also had to pay 4,000,000 Randoms. Finally, Mexico could not attack the SRE until 1900.

After a long brutal war. The Socialist Random Empire had gained their independence, land, and people. This would be the start of a massive influential Empire. The world and Universe would be changed by this nation. Socialism would spread across the universe, and the Random way would eventually become the only way in Random.

Rebuilding and Expandion

After the Random War of Independence, the Empire’s infrastructure was served damaged. Charles Random had to rebuild his Empire, and solve many new problems along the way. He also expanded his new nation. Charles had solidified his nation’s sovereignty, and created a competent Empire. The Socialist Random Empire in this time had become a fully fledged nation.

Repaying Debts

The Random War of Independence had costed the Empire severely. After the RWI, the SRE was in 31,820,000 Randoms (~35,000,000 USD) in 1893, or over a billion 2019 US dollars. Charles set out to try to repay all the debt, as to ensure the Empire would have to deal with a worse debt crisis in the future. Most of the Empire’s ambitions had to be halted to repay its debts, but in the end, it was worth it.

Firstly, the Random Empire imposed a flat 50% income tax rate on all individuals, and even more for the wealthy. In 1894, the Empire was spending as much as 20% of its expenditure paying its debt; and for the text nine years (1894-1903) it stayed this high. This was reduced to 12% in 1904, and then 10% in 1905. The percentage steadily decreased by ~2% each year until 1911. Taxes contributed around 50% to solving the debt problem.

Secondly, business were ran by the Socialist Random Empire’s government. This meant that all profits were sent directly to the government, and could be spent by it. Businesses or institutions that did not turn a profit were discontinued. In 1920, those unprofitable businesses returned after the Empire had accumulated enough “buffer” money to run them. Businesses contributed around 30% to paying the debts.

Finally, resoucres were exported greatly. Iron production greatly increased in the mid 1890’s, but the Empire was still using the same amount of iron as before, most of the new iron was traded to other nations for money. The same happened to coal, rocks, and salt, but to a lesser extent. Imports were also reduced to save money. Trade and resources contributed around 20% to paying the debts.

By 1911, all the debts had been repayed. Taxes contributed 51%, businesses 29%, and trade contributed 17%. The rest of the 3% came from other sources like foreign donations, bank interest, labour, and third party payments. There have been very few times in history when the Empire became in debt again, as the Empire tried to stop from accumulating debt ever again.

Population Crisis.

Death’s were extremely high during the RWI. Over 57,000 people (both military and civilian) died just on the Random side alone. This was ludicrous high for the type of war at that time. Most of them died from disease or starvation, not battle. So it wasn’t surprising that the Empire was experiencing a population crisis during the Birth era. And without population, the Empire’s ambitions were halted.

To combat this, the SRE opened borders to anyone who was Socialist. This action helped somewhat, with nearly 10,000 from around the world (but mostly America and Mexico) immigrating to the Random Empire from 1893-1903. But their still was a large deficit of people. In 1896, Random gained Los Angeles and Orange County from the U.S, and this solved the population crisis. 60,000 new citizens joined the Empire, this helped with the crisis greatly, but more importantly, it helped compound this. As more people were introduced into the Empire, more children were birthed. The population crisis slowly. Healthcare also improved in the Empire during this time. More knowledge on diseases and better hygiene made infection rates lower by 30%, and mortality rates decrease slightly. Safety was also improved, as factories and roads were more protected due to stricter government standards and management. Tools and vehicles were also made safer with these new standards. Finally, crime went down as people became more happy with the new socialist government.

All of these factors and more helped solve the population crisis. More population and lower death rates made the population increase. By 1910, the Department of Healthcare had declared the the crisis was resolved.

Rebuilding the Empire

Charles began to immediately rebuild once the Random War of Independence had been won. This was done to increase efficiency across the Empire, specifically to help combat the other crisis more quickly and effectively. It was also done to improve morale after the devastating war. Finally, to prove that socialism can work around the world, the Random Empire wanted quickly rebuild itself to show how effective socialism/communism really was.

Geography, Climate, and Environment

The NUSRE has many different planets and systems, each with different geography, biomes, and wildlife.

Vogel Primaris

The planet on Vogel is large compared to other planets around the size of 1.2 Earth’s. The NUSRE (not counting their satellites puppets) on Random consists of of two lobes connected by a tall, but thin strip of land. There are also a few islands and island chains that are apart of the NUSRE.

In the Northwest, and North Central, the NUSRE is very mountainous. Mount Angelina is the highest peak in the entire Empire, the Mountain is 7,990 meters (26,210 feet) high. The longest mountain range on Spook Vooper are the Random Mountains at 340 km (210 miles) long.

Most of the South and East are flat plains, and they have many rivers. The Charles Rivers are 1980 km (1230 mi) long. These rivers splits the Eastern Lobe into 3 parts, and they make up the borders of the States Random, New California, and Ashon. Lake Orange and Mount Ledro are the main sources of this river system.There are many more rivers in the NUSRE, such as the Random, Pollen, and Jade Rivers.

There are two main bays in the SRE the Randomia Bay (South), and Spencer Bay (North). Randomia Bay southern half is a swampland and a Mangrove Forest. These two bays cut into the NUSRE’s center.

Lopez Island and Perry Island are the two large islands of the NUSRE. Perry island is located in the Southwest, the island has many rivers. Lopez Island is in the North of the NUSRE. Lopez Island has one of the sandy beaches in the NUSRE. There is also the Randomis Archipelago, a group of 17 islands. Its main island, Qwanta, has the largest volcano in he entire empire. Mt.Frankie is over 3km tall and 16km wide, and is even visible from space.

Three forest are in the NUSRE mainland. These are the Random Mountain, Colorado, Bleaca Forests. The Random Mountain Forests sits at the base of the Random Mountains, and they're known for their exceptionally high trees (up to 100 meters). The Colorado Forest is watered by the Charles Rivers, and is in the Northeast part of the Empire, it is named after the Colorado River. Bleaca Forest was named after the Colony Ship Bleaca, it is also watered by the Charles Rivers, and it’s in the Southeastern part of the NUSRE, it also visible from Space.

Natural Disasters, such as Tornadoes, Earthquakes, Volcanic Eruptions, Sinkholes, and Tsunamis are uncommon on Vogel. Extreme weather does happen with some patterns. Monsoon season brings heavy rain to the entire NUSRE, and with that, mudslides. Category 1-3 Hurricanes do hit the South Western part of the NUSRE and Perry Island. And snowstorms do hit the Random Mountains.

Gravity on Vogel, (1.3g) makes living on the planet normal for Randomians, and Vooperians, but harder for normal humans. The temperature on Vogel, is high, Vogel is one of the hottest planets in the NUSRE. It is also incredibly humid. Tropical savannas and grasslands cover most of the Empire. Rainforests cover the southeast, along with swamps. The Randomis Archipelago are also covered with Rainforest. Boreal Forests cover the Random Mountains and Noroeste, grasslands and woodlands cover the rest of the area.

Population

The NUSRE has a population density of 86.28. Its most influential city is the largest, in both population and size, and its capital, Chancia Randomia with 12635.24 people per square mile.

Government

The Government of the New United Socialist Random Empire is a Socialist Dictatorship. Its Executive and Legislative branch is the Supreme Director, and its Grand Council. The Supreme Director as total control over the NUSRE, and is the one who makes and enforces the law. The Grand Council is a group of Rear Directors, Department heads, vice, and rear, and some other personnel. They try to convince the Supreme Director to make the right choice. The Supreme Director cannot change the country in any way without going through the Grand Council.

The Justice system is the High Court. 10 Supreme Judges lead the High Court.Which leads all courts in the NUSRE, and deals with cases of high significance. All Judges are appointed by the Supreme Director.

To become the Supreme Director you must join the NUSRE Socialist Party, and have the majority of the party on your side. If the Supreme Director loses party popularity, retires, or dies, then the process of picking the Supreme Director starts all over again. The Supreme Director can appoint the Vice and Rear Directors. To become a leadership role in a Department, you must become a candidate, then have 70% of the party be on your side, and finally be appointed by the Supreme Director.

To join the NUSRE Socialist Party, a party member above the rank of apprentice must be recommend an individual. Secondly the person is closely monitored, the duration of the monitoring can be a few weeks, to years even. If deemed loyal, the person is offered to join the Party via mail, or e-mail. After that, the person are rigorously taught the ways of Socialism, the pledge, our Anthem "Randomize", and are forced to read the Communist Manifesto. They are also teach a brief history of Communist Countries. Next the individual becomes an recruit, and for the next few months they stay a recruit. Finally, after you take a test, you become are Party Member. There are currently 1,409 People in the NUSRE Socialist Party

The New United Socialist Random Empire is a collection of six states, two resource systems, and seven colonies. We also have 57 Colonial States. In all of the states, there are a combined 156 provinces. The NUSRE governs 9 star systems, and completely controls 36 planets.

Taxes Citizens. Enforcing laws with State Police. Responsible for all Affairs and Crimes committed in state. Runs Disaster Relief Programs. Responsible for all traffic on ground, all the way to the end of the Atmosphere. Maintaining State Parks. Power Production
