The Father and Red Queen

"And as Caine struck down his brother Able so too did God forever cruse Caine with a bloodthrist that would never be sated. -exert from the Book of Nod.

"Is this a dream, my child? Am I awake? Is this anger I feel? Is this wrath? I think it is! Oh, how infinitely, how intensely, how irredeemably are you all going to suffer now!"
—The Red Queen upon awakening after the destruction of Nod

Vampires have two deities when it comes to the theological those being Caine (The Father) and, Morrigan (Red Queen). Caine after his subunit killing of his younger brother Able, he as the Book of Nod tells wondered the lands for many years before meeting Morrigan where the two joined together and the first vampires came to be, and the City of Nod Caines beloved dream came to be. However, the city would not stand the test of time as it would be swallowed up by the biblical flood and Caine would disappear alongside leaving Morrigan to vow vengeance on all in her rage and wish the destruction of the living.

Ceremonies

Blood of the Queen When a wedding between those of mortal and immortal standing; a ceremony after the vows called Blood of the Queen is done. A goblet of blood mixed between future husband and wife is presented. With both to take a drink from the goblet afterwards the mortal will quickly shed their former coil on morality. It is said that this was how Caine and Morrigan had sired the first vampires that had over seen the city of Nod.

Siering there are three different ways of turning a mortal into one of Caine's chosen this includes the right named above Blood of the Queen. The first and most simple to do is by feeding the future fledgling the blood of their Sire while being fed on by that same Sire. The second way is by ingesting a brew that the Lahamians have named the Elixir of eternal life. However, these are only different ways of turning one from the mortal coil. The true Ceremony in this is that most Clans will hold a ball in honour of the soon to be newly sired. Where the individual(s) will have a red choker if a woman or a red sash if a man sporting the emblem of the clan they have been chosen by. At the height of the party theses chosen will be turned after saying the words of that Clan. IE. "My blood is of Morrigan and the world will tremble."- the words of Clan Drakenhoff.
