Map and Geography of Sodoran Alesia

Geography
Sodoran Alesia is dominated by the Bauxite Mountain range--named for its numerous aluminum mines--which divides the country into four distinct regions.
1.The region southwest of the Bauxites is known especially for its beaches and the soft, mellow, verdant countryside. It is a major contributor to tourism with many state resorts and many small towns built to support the aluminum industry up north.

2.The region southeast of the Bauxites is a direct contrast to the west. This is the true face of Sodoran Alesia, with the large port of Coastal Tiber, the capital, the centre of trade in Sodoran Alesia. There are also many factories here, ready to assemble goods to be shipped, primarily there are bauxite refineries which refine bauxite into alumina and smelting yards which extract aluminum from alumina. With the veins of the nation's industry concentrated in one area, we take our navy seriously with a full fledged military base right down the coast to secure and protect our city.

3. The region of the Bauxites themselves is an alpine paradise of pristine lakes and glaciers sparsely dotted by small ski towns. Here is the brutal training for the Sodoran Alesian army and where our proud skitroopers are stationed. We also have a small coastline with Lake Concord, where our trout fishing industry thrives and where the Sodoran Alesian River Navy patrols.

4.The region north of the mountain range is the agricultural sector of our nation, with flat plains and generous plains. However, the land is far from ideal, with the soil losing fertility and topsoil from years of overuse and deforestation from past regimes. We are currently experimenting with crop rotations and potential aeroponic solutions for more localized growing. The lake's shore extends here as well, see #3.
