Firm in his belief, he sent him out on a race on the night of April 22, 2003 with Dominguez. The race initially went in their favor as he expected until the final stretch. Dominguez crashed as a result of a sinister plot and Grass went back for her instead of finishing the race, resulting in the loss of over half their territory. This made him really mad at Grass and the two confronted each other, ending with Grass leaving in a fit of rage. With the camaraderie of Alakdan faltering Santos decided it was best to apologize to Grass as soon as possible as he figured out he was in the wrong.

Short Bio: Da is an old friend of Santos, having gone with him in his criminal days as his mechanic. When they quit being violent criminals to become street racers Da was never able to get the hang of driving and as a result he totaled his R32. Still scarred to this day he continues to be a mechanic instead as this still puts him near cars whilst putting him out of the danger of driving it. Although he secretly wishes to race again he instead plays Gran Turismo as a means to race. His interest in video games entertains his crew and makes him generally fun to be around. He praised Grass for being able to keep up with Dominguez's drifting after the two got back to the city. Grass jokingly offered him a lesson or two on drifting which he immediately turned down due to him having a severe case of skill issue. Before the race started Da dismissed Ignacio's feeling that something was wrong but as the race ended and Dominguez and Grass were nowhere to be found he started to think Ignacio was right. He sat in sadness in the hospital after hearing the news about Dominguez but tried to speak up during Grass and Santos's argument but to no avail.
