The Wonderfully Perfect Paradise of Gaiaguay is a massive, orderly nation, ruled by Goddess Coco with an iron fist, and renowned for its ritual sacrifices, free-roaming dinosaurs, and state-planned economy. The hard-nosed, cynical, humorless, devout population of 1.798 billion Gaiaguayians are ruled without fear or favor by a psychotic dictator, who outlaws just about everything and refers to the populace as "my little playthings."

The medium-sized, corrupt, socially-minded, well-organized government juggles the competing demands of Education, Defense, and Administration. It meets to discuss matters of state in the capital city of Gaia. The average income tax rate is 78.9%, and even higher for the wealthy.

The frighteningly efficient Gaiaguayian economy, worth 340 trillion Coconuts a year, is driven entirely by a combination of government and state-owned industry, with private enterprise illegal. However, for those in the know, there is an enormous, deeply entrenched black market in Arms Manufacturing, Tourism, Information Technology, and Retail. The private sector mostly consists of enterprising ten-year-olds selling lemonade on the sidewalk, but the government is looking at stamping this out. Average income is an impressive 189,432 Coconuts, and distributed extremely evenly, with little difference between the richest and poorest citizens.

Drills and shovels have been banned as the government cracks down on any means of fracking, scientists earn more grant money for reproducing old experiments than trying anything new, the wearing and manufacture of fur apparel is banned, and tuba players are paid to quietly whisper into their instruments. Crime, especially youth-related, is a major problem, perhaps because of the country's complete lack of prisons. Gaiaguay's national animal is the Flamingo, which frolics freely in the nation's many lush forests, and its national religion is Cocoism.

Gaiaguay is ranked 174,962nd in the world and 6,124th in Lazarus for Most Advanced Law Enforcement, scoring 791.68 on the Orwell Orderliness Index.
