The Founding and History Of Andaricus

During the 1100's a British Colony Fleet which carried well over 4,000 passengers sailed through the Indian Ocean trying to Colonize land in Southeast Asia. Due to strange and unfortunate events which are now clouded in obscurity the Colony Fleet sailed beyond Southeast Asia and even beyond Australia. It seemed like all was lost for the people on the ships when land was discovered. The Colonists had no choice but to land there and make their lives there, thankfully however the colonists did not succumb to many horrible machinations as the American Pilgrims did largely in part to Andaricus being so close to the Equator and weather conditions being warm most of the time. The Colony was considered lost by the British Monarchy at that time and no contact between Andaricus and Britian was made for nearly 500 years. The Land was eventually named Andaricus and the people there lived happily (Except in the case of some civil conflicts). It was also eventually found that the land itself was much larger than just an Island as it was a Continent of 3,200+ miles east to west and 2,500+ miles north to south. Even more curious was the fact that no one else live there, the continent was completely devoid of human life. It is a common place belief that Andaricus was the southern most region of the lost sunken continent of MU, basically being that in the northern most parts and western mountains of Andaricus there were a number of ancient ruins found, the most developed and well preserved of which have Geothermal Steam Piping and Cog & Piston Works that still function to this day. There were also ruins found that had crude but detailed maps of a much larger land mass, which we believe is MU itself. The Andarian People drafted a Magna Carta like document for governence and the nations long removal from European existence made advancement very quick and easy. The Andarian Renaissance beginning in the 1300's and the Andarian Industrial Era beginning in the 1500's (Mainly thanks to our study of the ruins). Contact between Andaricus and Southeast Asian countries began in this period and finally contact with Britian was made in the early 1700's. Andaricus relayed it's position to remain independent and for a time this was respected by the British Empire but only for forty years as a war did take place with Andaricus being the victor after one year thanks largely in part to the high level of technology the Andarian Nation employed and the terrain of western Andaricus being mountainous and somwhat treacherous. It is unknown how the continent was so undiscovered but it is known that prior to 8,000 years ago the region of Andaricus (much like Australia back then) was extremely barren and inhospitable until for one reason or another much of the lands became fertile and dispite 50% of the Continent still being in a desert like state much can still be done. In it's 800+ year history Andaricus has become an extremely powerful nation and one of the largest and most prosperous in the World.
